I was working with my first DSLR (Nikon D-500) in my first DSLR housing (Nauticam NA-D500) with the Zen wide angle port and Tokina 10-17mm. Talk about a challenge! In Okinawa, most shore divers shoot macro or super macro. Up until this point, I'd had a fair amount of experience with point-and-shoot maco. The whole concept of wide angle photography was foreign...excpt for close focus wide angle!
At horeshoe beach I was trying lots of things with the wide angle lens...I saw this box fish and was lucky enough to have it escape from this hiding place as I took a nice close focus wide angle shot.
A very impressive fish!
