"You can not give a pair of wings to a dolphin.
and wait for it to fly
Neither can give flippers to an eagle
and wait for it to swim
It is wisdom to accept each and also to each other
according to their nature and affinity"
Augusto Branco
Seen not far from Hulls award winning Aquarium "The Deep" this artwork depicts the "Manta Ray..
Manta rays are found in tropical and warm temperate coastal regions of the world's oceans, generally between 35 degrees north and south latitude, including the coasts of southern Africa, ranging from southern California to northern Peru, North Carolina to southern Brazil, and the Gulf of Mexico.
"Many times we need to be like the dolphin, to leave our world only on instinct and without losing our origins."

Created for the Crazy Tuesday theme of Aluminium Foil.
I covered an ornamental fish with crumpled aluminium foil and then coloured the image using Photoscape Colorfill.
Saw a pair of rarely seen Tinker's butterflyfish at Honaunau on Monday. Unfortunately, a squarespot goatfish was feeding nearby and stirred up the sand making photography pretty hard.

The common clownfish (Amphiprion ocellaris), also known as the false percula clownfish or ocellaris clownfish, is a marine fish belonging to the family Pomacentridae which includes clownfishes and damselfishes.
Common clownfish are known to grow about 110 mm long.
This species is found in the Eastern Indian Ocean and in the western Pacific Ocean. Common clownfish typically lives in small groups on outer reef slopes or in sheltered lagoons at a maximal depth of 18 meters.
Common clownfish are reliant on sea anemone for shelter (they have a symbiotic relationship with the sea anemone).
Sea anemone are protection for the fish and their nests. This is because when common clownfish are in the open waters, they have a higher risk of predation. It is postulated that the fanning behavior of the fish and removal of parasites promotes the health of sea anemones which contain common clownfish. In addition, the anemone provides protection for the fish with its tentacles, however, the fish’s mucus protection prevents it from being stung by the tentacles. The presence of the clownfish can be interpreted as a lure to attract potential anemone's preys close to the tentacles. And the clownfish can also defend the anemone against some reef fishes which could eat the tentacles

Oceanarium | I confess that at first I had thought that the oceanarium was one of those small aquariums where fish live suffocated in glass domes. But it's nothing like that. The pools here are built using the island's own corals, and there swim sea turtles, cat sharks, barracudas, mere dolphins and so many other species of sea animals.
What I liked the most here was watching the shark feeding moment and the dolphin show, but don't go thinking that you can swim with them. On the island, only keepers have access to animals. From the oceanarium to my next destination, it was about 20 minutes on a speedboat, and I confess I was looking forward to arriving soon.

Using the Nikon 10.5mm fisheye lens has captured the Parrot fish then my two Scat fish .
This view through this lens makes the tank look enormous but it's only a Five foot long tank,
A fun lens that produces images that are amusing and although I haven't had one for long I love playing around with it.
