This dwarf moray was not intimidated by my close approach. He kept his tiny jaws wide open and didn't back down at all. Dwarf morays reach a maximum length of 12 inches.

Saw a pair of rarely seen Tinker's butterflyfish at Honaunau on Monday. Unfortunately, a squarespot goatfish was feeding nearby and stirred up the sand making photography pretty hard.

This spinner dolphin appeared out of nowhere, circled me twice, and then continued on its way. A minute later, a stream of more than a dozen dolphins swam past.

The first dives of the summer yielded nothing spectacular, but I did get a snap of this cute little spotted boxfish male.
