Dawn at the Moselle near Trier-Ehrang. Small cloud gaps in the direction of sunrise gave a spectacular coloring game, as I have rarely experienced.

Der Klaussee auf 2162 m Höhe ist nicht nur einer der schönsten Bergseen in der Durreckgruppe im Tauferer Ahrntal, von hier aus hat man auch eine hervorragende Aussicht auf die Gipfel der Zillertaler Alpen.

The Klaussee at 2162 m altitude is not only one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in the Durreck group in the Aurina Valley, from here you have also an excellent view of the Zillertal summit.
Here's another composition taken at El Matador state beach. My last post from here was shot from the rock just to the right of the opening.

Denali flightseeing tour from Talkeetna, Alaska. We were supposed to land on a glacier, but low clouds and high winds did not cooperate. Still, it was fascinating to see the massive river of ice between towering cliffs.

This was one of the shots I was looking for. During a summer night while I was looking for a nice spot to frame the Milky Way, a huge thunderstorm over the plains ruined the purpose. So, what to do, just expose long, wait and hope, and the night, wasn't ruined at all.

A mix of cold, light hoarfrost and fog lay over the landscape near my place of residence during the sunset.
Ein Mix aus Kälte, leichtem Raureif und Nebel lag während des Sonnenuntergangs über der Landschaft nahe meines Wohnortes.

I finally managed to sneak down the Kukui Trail and found some nice clouds here at Waimea Canyon. Then the sun broke through clouds and cast some cool and interesting light over the landscape. After reviewing this photo, I wished I had taken out the 70-200 to pick the landscape apart piece by piece, but alas, Live and learn. :)

THe Royal Palace of Leh surrounded by the soft clouds of the Ladakh Skies, an image I will never forget!
Still in Sesto from an elevated point of view - not far from the church pictured yesterday. The mountains provided an interesting backdrop against which the farms would stand out.

La llegada a Aveiro fue fantástica, no se explicar el porqué, pero tenía la sensación de que me iba a sorprender gratamente el lugar. Los primeros días fueron días muy nublado en los cuáles la ría nos mostró una belleza más apagada, algo lúgubre podría decir, pero el tercer día fue diferente, a pesar de levantarse muy nublado, corría un fuerte viento y poco a poco el cielo se fue abriendo mostrando todo el esplendor del lugar y haciéndome sentir una maravillosa sensación. La ría comenzó a teñirse de las diferentes tonalidades de azul, los reflejos del cielo comenzaban a verse por momentos más nítido, no se si esto lo veía yo de la emoción xD y el sol comenzó a salir por el horizonte, vamos que mejor no lo podría yo imaginar. El momento fue fantástico, sentía totalmente realizado como si no pudiera haber mejor lugar en el mundo en el que estar, salvo observando esta maravilla y ya de paso hacer alguna que otra fotillo. Un momento realmente irrepetible, inolvidable y lleno de unas sensaciones embriagadoras que llenaban por completo mi espíritu. Uno de esos momentos que según mi opinión son por los cuáles merece la pena estar aquí, INCREÍBLEE !!

The Sutro Baths in San Francisco opened in 1896 as the world’s largest indoor swimming pool complex with 6 saltwater pools, 1 freshwater pool, a 2700-seat amphitheater, and an ice skating rink. However, due to high operating costs and a fire in 1966 when the building was already in the process of being torn down, the only structures that remain are now in ruins. Today the Sutro Baths is maintained by the US National Park Service and is a scenic hiking area for locals and tourists alike.
I visited the Sutro Baths on a cool windy September day. Unfortunately, I arrived just before sunset and spent the remaining time taking pictures that I didn’t really have much time to explore the surrounding areas. I hear to the right of the picture near the rocks that there’s a tunnel leading to the other side of the rocks. There’s also a great deal of hiking trails behind my view that lead all the way to the Golden Gate Bridge. The most surprising part to me was the baths were only torn down 50 years ago as the ruins appeared much older and reminded me of some Roman baths in the UK and Italy.
