Embalse del Esla de Ricobayo nennt sich die Talsperre im Nordwesten Spaniens. Hier wird der Esla, ein Nebenfluss des Duero großflächig aufgestaut. Die Bahnstrecke Madrid - A Coruña im Abschnitt Zamora - Ourense überquert diesen auf einer 1942 gebauten Betonbrücke mit einer Bogenspannweite von 208m (lange Jahre Weltrekord).

Er hangt een waterige kilte en de mist hult de einder in nevelen. Vanuit de smoor stoomt de dagelijke goederentrein naar Medemblik. De goederenwagens zijn gevuld met herfstgroenten zoals boerenkool, pastinaak en knolselderij. Een deel van de lading zal via de Zuiderzee verscheept worden. Via het spoor heeft de Duitse ondernemer Johann Carl Weck een lading weckpotten naar Medemblik verzonden. Daar is in de herfstperiode grote vraag naar. Ondanks dat de niet onaanzienlijke goederentram versterkt is met twee rijtuigen heeft de krachtige locomotief 8107 weinig moeite om de tram met een snelheid van 30 kilometer per uur richting eindstation te dirigeren.

In may 2018, with 3 friends we managed to get a week off duty in order to undertake a trip to Bulgaria. Purpose of the trip: discover what Bulgaria’s railway scene has to offer. Immediately after getting off the plane we headed to Septemvri for an afternoon on the Rhodopen railway, which connects Septemvri to Dobrinishte. It serves for tourism, but is also an essential means of transportation for the people living in this remote region. We found the section that we visited very charming, and the limited number of trains was compensated by the speed they run at. We saw only 3 trains in total, but were able to shoot them at a variety of different locations.
The pictured train is the second one we saw. It runs uphill towards Dobrinishte and is entering the small station of Tsepina during a brief moment of sunshine.

On a typical Côte-Nord rainy day, a loaded ore train rounds the bend at milepost 30 of ArcelorMittal's iron ore line between Port-Cartier and Mont-Wright, QC. Consist : QCM 21, AMMC 097.
Fabian and Ralf have brought the small steam engine to the main tracks of Brugg.
The driver of commuter train called the control center to get them back to the Bahnpark. The control center had just forgotten that Ralf and Fabian waited for the open signal.
On the double-track Martin – Horná Štubňa, the 475-196 coming from Vrútky with a rack of authentic vintage passenger cars is running at full speed, offering us our first picture of the day. It is passing without stop the Rakovo Príbovce station, where an old telegraphic pole is still standing up.

Lineas NV/SA: through track 2M of the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges station, this freight train accesses the freight station of the same name. NACCO's Uacs wagons consist is headed by electric locomotive 27135M, an Alstom Prima EL2U built in 2004 for Fret SNCF. It is currently owned by Akiem SAS.
At sunset, a late CN 401 glides east into Sainte-Rosalie behind a pair of hand-me-downs bracketing GP40-2W 9584. Consist : CN 5431, CN 9584, CN 2173.

Men beschikt hier over 14 Alstom Coradia Minuetto-treinstellen uit 2005 (ETi 401-414) en 4 treinstellen geleverd door Casaralto/Ansaldo/TIBB in 1994 (ET 15-18). De ET 16+17 passeren het kasteel van Cles op weg naar Trento.

Visto il crescente numero di viaggiatori che utilizzano i treni della Zentralbahn, quest'ultima ha introdotto, nella stagione estiva, dei treni supplementari da Luzern per Interlaken e Engelberg. Durante la scorsa estate l'IR aggiuntivo Luzern - Engelberg è stato spesso effettuato dalla BDeh 140 006 ex LSE (altrimenti utilizzata solo per treni di servizio) e da due vetture. Le bellissime BDeh 4/4 della Luzern-Stans-Engelberg sono state prodotte in 8 esemplari da SLM/SWP/BBC tra il 1964 e il 1980 e, a oggi, ne esistono soltanto 3. L'unità 6, in particolare, è entrata in servizio nel 1970 ed è stata ricostruita/ammodernata a seguito di un incidente avvenuto nel 2002. Lo scorso 11 agosto la suddetta elettromotrice ha effettuato delle corse prova, una delle quali è ritratta nei pressi di Stans. Si noti il passaggio a livello guasto...
