The Re 4/4 III was built with a different gear from the Re 4/4 II.
They had a higher tractive effort than then standard machines, but therefore then also a lower maximum speed.
They were all deployed within the cargo division and belong now to SBB Cargo.
(EN) On a cool winter afternoon without snow railcar 7121 005 is running as regional 3130 from Zabok to Djurmanec through the fields and marshes north of the the town Zabok, and soon will reach his next stop Strucljevo. The sun is already quite low, and in a few minutes the shadow of the nearby hills will already reach the tracks.
(DE) An einem frischen Winternachmittag ohne Schnee fährt er Triebwagen 7121 005 gerade als Regionalzug 3130 von Zabok nach Djurmanec durch die Felder und Sümpfe nördlich der Stadt Zabok. In Kürze seinen nächsten Zwischenhalt, die Haltestelle von Strucljevo erreichen. Die Sonne steht bereits ziemlich niedrig und in wenigen Minuten wird schon der Schatten der nahe gelegenen Hügel die Gleise erreichen.

Bombardier Traxx F140MS2, NMBS 2811
We zien een zeer gekend beeld van de laatste jaren, een NMBS Traxx (HLE 28) die 7 rijtuigen ICRmH van de NS meetrekt en nog een andere NS186 NMBS28 laat duwen om extra snel hoge snelheden te halen (want uiteraard is 1 Traxx helemaal prima voor 7 rijtuigjes), maar deze tweede locomotief is er ook om in twee richtingen te kunnen rijden, wat nodig is omdat er in Breda van kant gekeerd wordt. Je ziet dan ook vaak zowel een NS als NMBS loc aan dezelfde stam hangen.
Ondertussen is dit ook al een onhermaakbare foto, aangezien de 2811, die op deze foto een stam ICRmH van de NS sleept, ondertussen een nieuwe frontsticker heeft met bijhorende bijnaam de Sinjoor / l'Anversois.

With CN 9592 at the front and CN 9547 in the back (not seen), the engineer of L516 tries to keep a steddy slow speed downgrade. The final destination for those hoppers would be the grain elevator sitting at the bottom of the hill at Les Foulons, Qc.
BN HLE 27, NMBS 2731
Een HLE 27 is opzich al een bizarre verschijning op deze tractiewerkplaats. Nog specialer is dat naar mijn weten voor het eerst in de Belgische geschiedenis een locomotief naar een private onderneming binnen België over gaat. Deze, samen met de 2707 zijn namelijk voorbestemd aan CERTUS, een dochteronderneming van Strukton Rail. Ze worden in Antwerpen klaargemaakt voor de overname. Ondertussen zijn deze twee machines voorzien van een full wrap in de CERTUS huisstijl.

(EN) 664 109 waits with a special train leased by British railfans at the Slovenian border station Rogatec until the passport control is completed. 18/04/2015. was the first day of the four day-long railtour through Croatia and Slovenia. In the background you can see the Croatian 2062 024 which is ready for the takeover of the train.
(DE) 664 109 wartet mit einem von britischen Eisenbahnfreunden gemieteten Sonderzug im slowenischen Grenzbahnhof Rogatec bis die Passkontrolle erledigt ist. Der 18.04.2015. war der erste Tag der insgesamt vier Tage langen Rundfahrt durch Kroatien und Slowenien. Im Hintergrund zu sehen die kroatische 2062 024 welche auf die Übernahme des Zuges wartet.

Driving Van Trailer (DVT) 82307 leads the late running empty coaching stock from Canton Depot which will form the 1W96 1716 Cardiff Central to Holyhead on 16th March 2017. Class 67 locomotive 67010 is at the rear (out of sight) providing power.
The 1716 departure for Holyhead - and the corresponding south bound working from Holyhead, are the only Arriva Trains Wales services to provide first class accommodation. The restaurant car - which also provides first class seating, can be seen at the front of the train in this photo.

Halverwege de maand maart kon men zich na lange tijd weer verheugen op een aantal fraaie dagen met zon; een prima gelegenheid om er op uit trekken. Vanwege het Corona-virus waren locaties zonder de aanwezigheid van al te veel andere mensen een goede keuze. De rand van het Nationaal Park ‘De Veluwezoom’ was zo’n locatie.
Op 17 maart 2020 passeerde hier stipt om 11 uur 30 de goederenvervoerder LTE. De foto toont LTE-locomotief 193 262 met 19 goederenwagens van het type Tams van de Slowaakse spoorwegen aan de haak. De trein komt uit de richting Bad Bentheim en is hier ter hoogte van Ellecom op weg naar het rangeerterrein Kijfhoek, ten zuidoosten van Rotterdam. Van daar uit zouden de niet-beladen wagens hun weg vervolgen naar Gent voor een ophalen van petroleumcokes. Petroleumcokes zijn donkergekleurde korrels en de productie daarvan komt voort uit aardolieraffinage. Petroleumkorrels zijn een belangrijk onderdeel van de industrie in de Gentse zeehaven.
