Defined by Duty

The theme of this year’s Remembrance exhibit, “Defined by Duty,” will focus on residents with ties to Vaughan and York County who served Canada in wars abroad before returning to enter public service. Many individuals who returned home after experiencing these dangerous situations, often considered themselves lucky to have survived and wanted to continue serving their nation and community by entering public service. Through rare artifacts, documents and photographs, this year’s exhibit will highlight their service and sacrifice at home and abroad.
