This one is a bit hard to make sense of.
The rather rude graffiti (it could roughly be translated as F**k the Swedes) in itself is nothing surprising in Finland.
However, it was seen in Westend, which is one of the top three most affluent neighborhoods in Finland.
To make it even more ironic is the fact that roughly 20 % of the people in Westend are Swedish speaking as opposed to about 6 % nationally.
I found this plastered political statment titled "The World's Number One Terrorist" on an abandoned building in Salt Lake City.
I couldn't help but think about the symbolism...and which was a more powerful statement, the sign, or the pile of feces in the lower left! Both make great points :)

علينا ان نتذكر ان رئيس الجامعة لم يقابل الوفد الطلابي يوم 6 ابريل الا بعد ضغط الطلاب الذين شاركوا في المظاهرة والاعتصام امام القبة في هذا اليوم. ولم يقابل الطلاب في مؤتمر 9 ابريل الا بعد هذا الضغط. ولن يتم تطبيق حقنا الطبيعي في دعم الكتب الجامعية الا اذا مارسنا ضغط مماثل.
نحن جميعا هذه الايام نستعد لامتحانات الترم التاني, ولازم نذاكر بجد, لكن برضو لازم نتفق كلنا ان, مع اول يوم في السنة اللي جاية, نمتنع عن دفع المصروفات الدراسية الغير قانونية كوسيلة للضغط على ادارة الجامعة لتخفيضها. وفي الوقت ذاته نطالب جميعا ونصرّ على حقنا في دعم كل الكتب الجامعية بالا يزيد سعر اي كتاب عن 10 جنيه.

I took a picture of my favorite building on campus, and later took a picture of an overflowing trash can... unfortunately, I forgot to wind after Memorial Union...so I ended up with a double.
I don't think Memorial is trash, but this picture would say otherwise.
