Personal statements or Personal History statements most commonly come in two types of documents. One’s that are 500 long (most universities take this) and then ones which are 2000-5000 words long.

The closing statements in the case The Prosecutor v. Ali Muhammad Ali Abd-Al-Rahman ("Ali Kushayb") are scheduled to take place from 11 to 13 December 2024 at the seat of the International Criminal Court (“ICC” or the “Court”) in The Hague, The Netherlands. Mr Abd-Al-Rahman is accused of 31 counts of war crimes and crimes against humanity allegedly committed in Darfur, Sudan, between August 2003 and at least April 2004.

علينا ان نتذكر ان رئيس الجامعة لم يقابل الوفد الطلابي يوم 6 ابريل الا بعد ضغط الطلاب الذين شاركوا في المظاهرة والاعتصام امام القبة في هذا اليوم. ولم يقابل الطلاب في مؤتمر 9 ابريل الا بعد هذا الضغط. ولن يتم تطبيق حقنا الطبيعي في دعم الكتب الجامعية الا اذا مارسنا ضغط مماثل.
نحن جميعا هذه الايام نستعد لامتحانات الترم التاني, ولازم نذاكر بجد, لكن برضو لازم نتفق كلنا ان, مع اول يوم في السنة اللي جاية, نمتنع عن دفع المصروفات الدراسية الغير قانونية كوسيلة للضغط على ادارة الجامعة لتخفيضها. وفي الوقت ذاته نطالب جميعا ونصرّ على حقنا في دعم كل الكتب الجامعية بالا يزيد سعر اي كتاب عن 10 جنيه.

This is a statement of strength for me. A message to someone that I will not back down even though they scare me.
Journaling:
I’ve always considered myself a very observant person. I’ve had to be. Self protectant. Its one thing to be observant, and another to be hypersensitive to everything, everyone and every sound around you. Its enough to drive someone simply mad. In three days time, I’ve had enough crazy to want to not walk out my door. I’m tired already. I don’t want to hand over my life to anyone or any fear. I lived that already and I worked **** hard to get to where I was before all this started. I want to move about my life normal. Walk out my door with out worry. Get my mail, Walk in the park, go to my photo shoots alone. Do what I do, normal. Why the hell should I have to change my life? I shouldn’t. And I’m not. So this is my statement of strength. Of me standing up and saying oh hell no! You don’t rule me. You can’t push me around and tell me how to live my life and you sure as hell are not going to scare me into hiding in my home. FEAR DOES NOT RULE ME! Some unknown Does not rule me either. I decide and I’ve decided this stops. So for the person out there that is wishing me harm, Hear me. It is your warning.

Artist Statement
This portfolio represents my exploration of light, texture, and perspective. Through these seven images, I aimed to capture both the quiet and the dynamic moments that surround us daily, from natural landscapes to urban environments.
Each photograph was chosen to reflect a balance between observation and emotion. Some images focus on movement and energy, while others emphasize stillness and contemplation. I intended the sequence to create a visual rhythm, inviting the viewer to move through the portfolio with both attention and curiosity.
Photography, for me, is a way to notice the unnoticed—to see beauty in everyday moments, patterns, and contrasts. This collection represents my creative journey, highlighting the ways I interpret the world visually while developing my technical and artistic voice.

By 1630, Poussin was moving towards the uncompromising statements about the moral condition of humanity that were to characterize his work. In that year he painted the Plague of Ashdod (Louvre, Paris), which sets the style and mood of his work for the next five years. The figures are interlocked in an extremely complex composition which appears somewhat disorganized; in depicting the Old Testament theme, in which the spectator is spared none of the horror; Poussin was trying to achieve accuracy. The following year he painted the Empire of Flora (Dresden, Gemäldegalerie), a more cheerful subject but with a similarly interlocking frieze of figures. It is round these two pictures, datable through documents, that the rest of Poussin's pictures supposedly painted around 1630 have to be grouped.

I am writing to update Members on progress with the A465 Heads of the Valleys Dualling Project.
As set out in my Written Statement of 27 November 2017, section 2, from Gilwern to Brynmawr, is a very challenging project. The site topography, traffic management requirements and complex ground conditions has meant that the project has been far more difficult to deliver than originally envisaged.
As a result, I requested a comprehensive commercial project review be carried out, the conclusions of which were outlined in my Written Statement of 27 November 2017.
In light of this, my officials are assisting the Wales Audit Office who are carrying out a review of the procurement and delivery processes used on the project to date. This review is ongoing and will be reported in due course.
We will not compromise on the quality of the project we committed to at the Public Inquiry in spring 2014 and Transport officials continue to actively manage the project to ensure the work is being delivered in the most efficient way to meet programme and cost requirements. They are also working with the contractor, Costain, using mechanisms in the contract to resolve the issues that are in dispute between the parties. This dispute is ongoing and it is not be appropriate to say any more about these issues at this time.
Nevertheless, work is continuing at pace and the project is now about two-thirds complete. It is delivering a range of community benefits around local employment, education and training. The Valleys Taskforce is exploring how we can maximise these benefits when the project is completed at the end of this next year, to help deliver the vision set out in ‘Our Valleys, Our Future’. A seminar was held with stakeholders from across the Valleys in March and the outcomes are currently being collated. A plan for action will be discussed with stakeholders during a follow up event in the autumn.
Everyone involved in the project continues to be very grateful to those living and working in the area for their patience whilst the works are carried out.

Alfred Yekatom and Patrice-Edouard Ngaïssona are scheduled from 9 to 12 December 2024 at the seat of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, The Netherlands. They are accused of war crimes and crimes against humanity allegedly committed in the Central African Republic.
