The sign's beautiful blue shape (minus the letterboard) is like if an irregular four-sided polygon had a circular arc for one of its sides, so it's not a polygon anymore and there's apparently no standard term for the resulting shape. Maybe there should be!
I feel strongly that the letterboard should have a painted rectangular frame around it, a different color from the background shape.
"Estatements" guide to pronunciation: Like in "estate," the opening E is short, and the emphasis goes on "state." Think of classy estates, not trashy e-junk.
The building is from 1967 and we can safely assume the sign is from 1967 too, right?

The IAEA Event: Net Zero Needs Nuclear Power will highlight the crucial role of nuclear power as part of the energy mix. The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mr Rafael Mariano Grossi will announce the ‘IAEA Statement on Nuclear Power’ supported by 40 countries, both those already operating nuclear power plants and newcomers. Together these countries acknowledge that all available low-carbon technologies, including nuclear power, should be recognized, and actively supported. The Statement underlines the benefits of nuclear power, including that nuclear power plants produce no harmful greenhouse gas emissions; that nuclear energy contributes to energy security and the stability of power grids; and that it mitigates air pollution at a local level.

I found the little pillow years ago in a hotel giftshop in D.C.
I made the large Santas several years ago when it seemed that half the women in Hagerstown were making them - I did about 2 dozen at least. Their gowns and coats are paper - a crinkly kind that looks like rope, but you unwind it and flatten it a little, then glue strips of it side by side to make a 'fabric-like' section. It was fun scouring craft and thrift shops to find tiny toys and decorative items to give them a finished look.

would like to indicate clearly that the following statement is not one
from the MyAdvertisingPays company, but that it represents solely my own
personal opinion in how I view MyAdvertisingPays.
.
MyAdvertisingPays has the same interests as any other company.
And that is to generate revenue through product sales.
.
That is the only way how company costs such as:
- personnel
- maintenance & care,
as well as
- the profit share can be kept going.
.
It is logical too: no revenue no profit share!
.
The profit share (PS) is the name for a sharing of gains on the world-wide sales of the following described products.
.
The only prerequisite for participating in the profit share is to own
at least one credit pack as well as clicking and viewing 10 advertising
pages (text ads) per day.
.
As soon as you have completed those
10 clicks, no other action is necessary and you get automatically every
20 minutes a share in profits credited to your account.
.
The amount of the profit share is dependent on the respective number of credit packs each member owns.
The maximum limit for everyone is 1200 credit packs.
You get 1 share in profits per credit pack.
.
So:
The more credit packs, the higher is the number of shares in profit.
1 credit pack = 1 share in profits
10 credit packs = 10 shares in profit
100 credit packs = 100 shares in profit

The amount of the respective share in profit is variable, because it depends on the amount of the world-wide revenue.

MyAdvertisingPays offers a one-level affiliate program through which
you receive a so-called life time commission through recommendation.
That means that you receive a provision for each recommended person
(referral) for all future product buys your referral executes.

That is why the company generates revenues that flow to 100% into the reserve fund first.

The PSP finances the profit share.

Which interests has a user of MAP if he or she is buying credit packs?
First and foremost, I hope of course, that the focus is on the
advertising opportunities, because MyAdvertisingPays isn't an investment
company.

But I agree, the reality deviates a little from
that. At least for many that are willing to increase their share in
profits via quantitative measures.

But the following fact proves that the focus does not >SOLELYvoluntarily .
Another key criteria is that these are so called consumption products:
- Credit packs that expire after they earned their goal value,
- Credit packs that contain a specific and limited number of traffic credits (550 credits/pack).
- Advertising banners that are shown during a certain period of time
- Guaranteed visitors that guarantee a specified number of visitors

For comparison:
- Imagine that the credit packs would >NOTBecause MAP has...
- Income from membership fees

- Recurring sales of consumption products

We have a large and diverse permanent art collection at the Library. This year we made the decision to turn the Hirschberg Gallery (the small entry space of the Sabatini Gallery) into a permanent collection space. That means more library art on display year-round. Our goal is to curate exhibits that will compliment our main exhibits, but they will be separate entities. You now get two shows instead of one!
Note-Grids are a tool for collecting and connecting objects of thought (in this case, words).
They treat words and other manifestations of thought as objects that can be freely manipulated to create new meaning.
They break meaning up into individual words to facilitate a more fluid, intuitive, and improvisational approach to knowledge production.

Inquiry Statement: What does photography reveal about the importance, beauty, and ever-presence of mathematics?
Weakness: Over-editing - I want to take photos that look better straight out of camera to save time and minimize steps.
Materials:
Fujifilm X-T50 camera
Marin County Civic Center upper level façade
Idea:
I've previously taken a photo of a façade that was shaped like a function graph in my SI #3 project. I thought it was especially serendipitous that this was the exact inverse function mathematically of the other photo.
Process:
I shot the wall using the best straight-on perspective I could get. I also used f16 to make all the little lights on the other side of the glass sharper. In editing, I used a small crop to make the curtains and brass bar the edges of the frame since that seemed more natural instead of just more empty wall or window.

While creating this AMAZING piece of wearable true art, I closed my eyes and let my inner intuition artistic spirit guide me. The result was this fully functioning expression of artistry, wearable AND also stands up by itself, thus serving as a thought-provoking necklace/art piece, and a movable mixed media sculpture.
