Note-Grids are a tool for collecting and connecting objects of thought (in this case, words).

They treat words and other manifestations of thought as objects that can be freely manipulated to create new meaning.

They break meaning up into individual words to facilitate a more fluid, intuitive, and improvisational approach to knowledge production.

Net Zero Needs Nuclear Power, Shared Presentations Stage 3, Thematic Arena 3, Opportunity petal, an IAEA Statement Event at the United Nations Climate Change Conference UNCCC held at the Expo City Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Blue Zone, 1 December 2023

The IAEA Event: Net Zero Needs Nuclear Power will highlight the crucial role of nuclear power as part of the energy mix. The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mr Rafael Mariano Grossi will announce the ‘IAEA Statement on Nuclear Power’ supported by 40 countries, both those already operating nuclear power plants and newcomers. Together these countries acknowledge that all available low-carbon technologies, including nuclear power, should be recognized, and actively supported. The Statement underlines the benefits of nuclear power, including that nuclear power plants produce no harmful greenhouse gas emissions; that nuclear energy contributes to energy security and the stability of power grids; and that it mitigates air pollution at a local level.

BUILDING SKATEBOARD RAMPS, PIECING TOGETHER BMX BIKES, MAKING THE MOST OUT OF A ROOM SHARED WITH YOUR OLDER BROTHER, COUCHES IN CLOSETS,DRAWING ON THE BACK OF YOUR MOTHER’S HOMEWORK & MAKING GIFTS WHEN YOU CAN’T BUY THEM...DESIGN AND REDISIGN. THIS IS WHO I AM. I COULD NOT ESCAPE CONSTANT THOUGHTS OF MAKING MY OWN, INSERT OBJECT HERE, SO I HAVE EMBRACED IT. I BELIEVE I WAS DESIGNED TO DESIGN, TO COMMUNICATE MY CULTURE, MY LIFE, THROUGH ARTISTIC & FUNCTIONAL OBJECTS & INTERIOR SPACES. I BELIEVE YOU CAN LEARN TO DO ANYTHING, BUT IT IS THE FORCE BEHIND YOUR URGE TO LEARN SOMETHING THAT MATTERS, IT IS INNATE. I STRIVE TO SURROUND MYSELF WITH CREATIVES THAT UNDERSTAND MY DRIVE, MY HISTORY & MY HEART. FINDING MINDS THAT WORK TOGETHER TO ENCOURAGE & INSPIRE EACH OTHER TO PUSH THEIR PERSONAL BOUNDARIES, SUBSCRIBING TO STYLE, LETTING TRENDS & FADS COME & GO AS THEY PLEASE. THROUGH MY DESIGN I HOPE TO SHOW THE PUBLIC THAT SUSTAINABILITY STARTS WITH DESIGN & ENDS WITH THE CONSUMER’S KNOWLEDGE OF WHICH PRODUCTS AND LIVING CHOICES WILL BEST SUIT THE HEALTH OF THIS PLANET AS WELL AS THEIR OWN WELL BEING. IN MY DESIGN I WILL AVOID THE MATERIALISTIC & WASTEFUL NATURE OF THE INDUSTRY SEARCHING FOR THE SOUL OF DESIGN, THE NECESSITY OF QUALITY.

This picture aptly describes without words the impact that social media (cell phones to be precise) have on our culture. Over 2000 students in a large stadium during the commencement ceremony look for their families. How did we ever find our families when we (at least older people like myself) were without cellphones or other devices to instantly connect?

Open Statement To My Autumn 2005 Guests

by Blondecowboy1001

Dear Friends and Visitors,

“ There are times when

something is possible

there are times

when nothing is possible

there are times when

everything is possible. ”

- Naqshbandi Recital

Thanks to everyone for visiting my picture/ erstwhile poetry sitelet this autumn. I was surprised by the thousand - plus hits I had in perhaps 2 months of placing my material on this site.

I continue my photography and poetry off this site because the purpose has been served. When the school is over it closes when the need has been fulfilled. Indeed the web site hit counter was increasing geometrically, but that in itself means nothing since the purpose I set out for myself was sufficiently reached.

I learned that I can express myself somewhat deeply herein. There seems to be no correlation or little between the visual experience of presentation of words - in this case poetry in other cases verbalizations - and pictures. In some cases the pictures I attempted to correlate strongly with pictures, and in other cases only tangentially. Such effort reinforces the perhaps atavistic belief and finding that art is the only means at human’s disposal to express the ineffable, to stop the moment.

Thank you for visiting.

Yours in the transfinities,

Todd

The Closing Statements in the case The Prosecutor v. Mahamat Said Abdel Kani took place at the seat of the International Criminal Court (“ICC” or the “the Court”) in The Hague, The Netherlands, from 25-27 November 2025, commencing at 09:30 (The Hague time) in Courtroom 1. As a former alleged Seleka commander, Mr Said is accused of crimes against humanity (imprisonment or other severe deprivation of liberty; torture; persecution and other inhumane acts) and war crimes (torture; cruel treatment and outrages upon personal dignity) allegedly committed at the Office Central de Répression du Banditisme (‘OCRB’) in Bangui (Central African Republic) in 2013.
