Set up used for the Hay Bale. Super simple setup. Photosel 10" Reflector (metal) is the modifier, very efficient with a 65 degree spread to combat sun in HSS. Strobe is a Rovelight 600B in HSS mode around 1/8 to 1/4 power at far distances, 10~12 feet easily. Yongnuo YN622 transceiver carries the HSS signal from my camera to the light. Camera is 5D classic and various lenses (you can see in EXIF).

Profile Tyrecenter Utrecht:
The piggyback camera mount, designed to allow the Questar drive to move a camera, is here connected to a right angle bracket that was probably made to mount a flash in a camera. The camera is then connected by its tripod thread to the bracket. This is currently the only connection between the camera and the telescope.
This mounting is quite flimsy, but the camera's infra-red remote control allows the shutter to be tripped without touching either camera or telescope. The C2000ZOOM is aimed at the eyepiece of the telescope.
Setup for this shot. I used the softbox rather than one of my umbrellas, because I wanted super soft wrap around light on my fingers, and less light spillage into the room. The fairly low power of 1/64 was due to the fact I had the lens wide open at 1.4.

Camera: Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd
Exposure: 0.017 sec (1/60)
Aperture: f/2.8
Focal Length: 4.7 mm
ISO Speed: 400
Exposure Bias: 0/100 EV
Flash: Flash did not fire
> Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd is set at "AUTO"
> Picture result can also vary depending on LCD screen brand or if viewed from CRT screen, and setting of monitor.
> I am still not that impress with the quality of this camera, especially with its auto-focus. Factors that could have affected the shot are - not using a tripod/monopod, didnt use a MANUAL setting.
> This model is too bulky for caving. if the Finepix F31fd has a 28mm lens, that would be the best for this sport.
> Still not as sharp if compared to my lost Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ1, which in my opinion is better on well lighted shots, and has a better anti-shake and faster auto-focus. another factor is the lens capability, the TZ-1 is only 10x.
I am still not that impress with the quality of this camera, compared to my TZ-1, again this is probably due to the complex lens of this Fuji, but I will still go for a wide angle and high ISO like this S8000fd.
This is my setup on how to make the image of the water droplet frozen in the air.

Setup for THIS
Many thanks to Audi for letting me work with their cars. These are part of a shoot done Sunday 29th June 2008 including other shots of Audi A4 and Audi R8. Shots where taken with a Nikon D200 with a 17-55mm f/2.8 DX lense lighting was from a single SB800 on various different power settings which was moved around the car additional lighting control was from a full size silver relector lighting was triggered using Nikons CLS system.
setup for this shot.
FYI..I forgot to mention in the setup shot, there was a sheet of Black Bristol Board...the walls in this guest bathroom is blue so I didn't want all that blue showing.
This photo shows the back yard setup I use to take bird photos in the spring. The square pond is just a half-sheet of plywood with border rails, covered with cheap pool liner. The plywood is about 6" off the ground, leveled with bricks and shims. I toss some rocks in the back to obscure the back edge of the pond. I then hang a perching twig from last fall over the pond, and wire up a piece of drip line to allow a little water drip. The backdrop has some trimmed juniper bush branches "planted" in the ground, with a nondescript piece of cloth to hide the retaining wall at the edge of the yard. The dropcloth is suspended between two light stands and a crossbar. I have to take all this foolishness down once we're ready to plant the vegetable garden (mid-May).

It's cool to setup your shots in your garage but not so much during hot, hot weather... I actually setup a fan but it doesn't do any good.
