This is the final setup. I tried a different kind of pulley first, but it ended up working much better to just use the simplest pulley I could find. I wanted big loop to go around the entire canoe which would allow for the canoe to hang upsidedown from how it is here. Upsidedown would allow it to drop directly unto a car. I didn't do it that way for now because the loops were giving so much under the strain that I thought it hung too low when not in use. eventually I'll probably work through that (webbing instead of rope, perhaps). I'll post new pictures when I get it hung upsidedown.

I wanted to get more use out of the Setup Audit Trail in Salesforce, so I created a custom object for it, imported the data, created some reports, and made a dashboard.

Pro setup...LOL...not quite.
I left both of my Bogen tripods in FL.( outstanding planning ) Sure would have come in handy shooting brackets for HDR. The gorillapod with a Canon Rebel XTi ( my 40D collapses this gorillapod model ) was mounted on top of a $20 Sears carry-on bag. Not having my remote shuttter release, I was relegated to using the timer function which is really a blast in NYC. "Tick..tick..tick...is that car going to make it into photo before the shutter goes off. Damn, the car didn't but those people strolled right through the brackets." The Sears bag did come in handy for toting gear and refreshment ( PB&J and 3 bottles of water ) through subways and parks and over the streets of NY totally about 8mi. A great day. Maybe next time I'll have my act together.,
