Setup shot for Grapes light box was made of 3 pieces of foam board and the flash was an sb-28 set to 1/8 power fired with a sync cord
The setup I used to do my first attempts at smoke photography. I dialed down the flash to 1/64, 2.8 aperture, and shutter speed of 1/250. You can see the Homemade snoot I attached to my flash.

Setup on Tripod for Landscape shots Orbisâ„¢ Ring Flash mounted on a clamp head 32 with a plain shoe mount to hold the flash and customed off shoe cord, Orbisâ„¢ secured with a nylon strap,. I can carry this and nothing falls off.

I got this setup for a water drop shot, and then... my flash decided not to wok. I was very frustrated. I got it to work the next night and I liked the results. The water drop pictures lose their mystique when you see a pan of water balanced on beer cans in a basement sink.
