This is the first test image ive gathered from the now pimped-up skywatcher 130pds. The sky quality was awful, but this was just a test.

The focuser has now been converted to an all-threaded system, so everything is solid and the corrector has been sunk into the drawtube, therebt clawing back a large amount of focuser travel.

The (very) dodgy corners are now gone, be there is still a very slight hint of coma, probably because the corrector distance needs to be reduced by about 1mm. An unintended side effect of this is that the system is currently running at f4.38.... thats pretty fast!

But on the downside, its now exposing the shortcomings of 1.25" filters (need to upgrade!).

Hand trolley modified as bike trailer?

I guess the plastic container bucketing the seat acts as a mudguard? (there's potential for some more storage there - but this owner had completely cut away the front - possibly to allow pedalling!)

For throwing standing up. I place the pedal to the right of the wheel on the platform that raises up my wheel.

On devrait avoir fini ce soir !!

Non m'importa se fa male,

Ma voglio avere il controllo

Voglio un corpo perfetto,

Voglio un'anima perfetta

Voglio che tu te ne accorga

Se non ci sono

Sei così dannatamente speciale

E anch'io vorrei essere speciale

Ma sono uno sfigato,

Sono un mostro

Che diavolo ci faccio qui?

Questo posto non fa per me

® Eyemech Modification by Sheryl Designs

Yesterday I modified my Lati SoaF Bayer's mouth (just resin carving involved). Maybe you know that I'm a sucker for open mouthes and usually I'm unable to bond with a doll if she has a closed mouth (don't laugh ^^). But Bayer is so cute with her long elf ears, I just had to do something about her closed mouth. And imagine... the moment I looked at her modified mouth... I knew she was going to stay.

I know open mouth are not everyone's cup of tea. How do you like it?

Pic 1 shows how the adapter cannot screw all the way into the suppressor. A small lip inside (Pic 2) prevents it from going all the way in.

I used a tungsten alloy cutter to trim away the lip - it was like a knife through butter!

I modified my Suzuki Cappuccino's radio to allow for an external input signal from an MP3 player.

This is my good old Vivitar Series 1 70-210 f/2.8-4 Macro focusing zoom lens, so called "version 3" made in the seventies by Komine company in Japan.

Back in the seventies, its performance with wide open aperture was quite impressive, especially for monochrome photography, where you can't see any chromatic aberration. And it is still quite sharp at f/2.8, but with a modern camera, I don't really have to worry about getting as much light as possible since it works well even at higher sensitivity settings. This lens is good in terms of optical quality, but ergonomically, it's a bit awkward - holding it by hand, it is too easy to move an aperture ring and to get a non-ideal setting. So, I decided to modify it mechanically to restrict aperture range to ~f/5.6 by rotating the mounting flange by 120º and cutting a new shorter slot in it for an aperture control pin that is supposed to be used to control this lens with Minolta film camera.

To do that, I had to remove non-reflective flange cover, detach the flange ring itself, cut a new slot with a small rotary grinder tool and put everything back together. This modification is completely reversible.

Simple yet effective. All boomfunctions are available at the same time.

I had to cut several holes in the back of the case to fit the I/O shield-plate for the new motherboard (Asus P5Q-EM), and a full-size ATX power supply unit.

It diden't take much to beef up set 4838.

See if you can guess what I changed.
