When I was young there was snow...from November in in December we had temperatures of -10 celsius...now 30 years later there is +16 degrees 😳. Don't get me wrong I don't like snow and coldness. Well hopefully January will be January. This picture is stacked, I thin k there is 20+ pictures in this scene. Did a little bit of color modification and some general exposure and level settings. Thanks for the visit and have a nice day.

No modifications - straight from the camera.

This one is dedicated to my mother - who spotted it in the first place and convinced me to take the picture. There are a few surprises visible only in the large size...

I'm lucky that she's still around - though when she flies back to India next week, I'll miss her a lot.

And as someone said a while ago, with this shot, I fulfill the obligations in flickr's terms and conditions - to post a picture of rose with dew :-) (well, "technically", I was supposed to upload a "dry" rose, which I guess the yellow one a week ago fulfilled!).

The Marmore waterfall, in the province of Terni, in the Valnerina, has an overall height difference of 165 metres, over three jumps.

It is the highest in Europe of artificial origin, having been formed, in Roman times, with the modification of the course of the Velino river, which thus flows into the Nera, a tributary of the Tiber.

It is a very popular tourist destination, reachable in a couple of hours from Rome, by car.

Yet I always uploaded my pictures directly from SL - using firestorm. Recently I was not happy with the result and started to tinker with some filters outside and upload it afterwards.

This here is an old picture with some modifications (contrast, colors, ...)

What do you think? Is it worth it, or are "original" pictures the better choice?

Žleby is well known for the baroque-romanticistic Žleby Castle. Its existence was first mentioned in 1289. Its part is an English landscape garden with an area of 24 ha. It was established in the 2nd half of the 19th century, when romanticistic modifications of the castle were made.

This is my review of the BrickArms TD-9 prototype.

The TD-9 Machine Pistol...Wow! Small enough to fit in a Lego briefcase, yet retaining it's lethal look, the TD-9 Machine Pistol prototype is unique in many ways. While the magazine is a bit small in my opinion, that is something that can't be fixed, unless you don't want it to fit in the Lego briefcase. The TD-9 is grippable in most places, and can be modded in quite a few ways (silencers, scopes/red dots, etc.). In my opinion, it doesn't have many uses other than for spy minifigures, but give it a few modifications and BAM, you can use it for a variety of things. I like how it fits into the Lego briefcase, that's very cool, gives it a nice touch. All in all, the TD-9 is a great prototype, though it doesn't have too many uses in its' un-modded state.

Hope you enjoyed the review!

Any questions about it, and I will answer them to the best of my ability.

Here I underexposed 1 stop using manual shutter mode and softened both highlights and shadow using Q menu instead of processing to jpeg and. printed using Adobe Portrait with some burning in to strengthen photo but still stock to better illustrate what can be done with the Fuji menu to improve the look of your final photo.

You can process the image to jpeg where you do not have to make any alterations to the cameras menu at all.

Located at the confluence of the Molignée and the Flavion, the Château de Montaigle stands proudly on a steep rocky spur. Built on an older construction, the medieval fortress was built at the beginning of the 14th century.

Since the Lower Empire, the site has seen a first Gallo-Roman fortification of the barred spur type. We are then in the 3rd century. A second architectural modification took place around the 9th century. It was further enlarged around the 12th century. Finally, the 14th century saw the last phase of modification of the castle as we can still see it today. The walls are, among other things, reinforced from the inside.

Formerly the seat of a bailiwick, the fortified castle, whose last phase of construction dates back to the beginning of the 14th century, was destroyed on the orders of Henry II of France in July 1554 by the Duke of Burgundy, François I of Nevers. Having already razed the town of Dinant in May 1554, the inhabitants of the castle had fled to Namur to seek the protection of Charles V. It is therefore a safe bet that the Duke encountered no resistance.

Having lost all strategic interest, the castle was never rebuilt after the destruction of 1554. It was left abandoned for a long time to the winds and other crows until an association took it over in the 20th century. The castle has been owned by the del Marmol family since 1865.

65-69 Wyle Cop is a terrace of 4 units, now 5 shops with flats over, probably originally dwellings dating from circa 1500 with later modifications.

Timber-framed with plain tiled roof. It is Grade II*listed.

Largely 3 storeys, but built on sloping site so No.69 at the upper end of the row has shop front occupying equivalent of ground and first floor, with wide gabled attic above. 8-window

range.

Shop fronts mostly late C19 or early C20 in style, and central arched entry to rear passage. Close studding with partial mid rail in upper storey with 2 windows to each unit. No.65 has sash windows, the rest all shallow oriels inserted in early C20, with wood mullions and transoms and leaded lights.

Second storey is jettied out, but in Nos 65-69 the jetty is a cast-iron lintel, and the timbering above is mock painted suggesting extensive restoration or major rebuilding. Upper windows are slightly projecting mullioned casements of 4 lights, run together to form a long 8-light window over No.68.

Shaw-style oriel windows to No.69.

Two gabled dormers in the roof over Nos 66 & 67, and a wide jettied gable, possibly a C20 insertion to No.69, with 5-light casement window and barge-boards with finial. Various axial and rear wall stacks.

Ok, modifications have been made :)

I quite like it now actually lol

Yes I left the part where the stock and grip connect unblended on purpose, it looked odd blended.

Spagna, Valencia.

Spain, Valencia. Thanks to his friend Mario who, while managing the huts, has left us carte blanche in the modifications of the perches, found on the spot and then destroyed, of the choice of backgrounds and of the entire photographic set. In pledge, the promise to send him the files to be published to advertise his sheds. Three days spent with my friend Renato whom I thank for the company and for sharing a wonderful experience. (The only really important thing) and that many of us should keep in mind a little more often

Someone made unusual modifications to this abandoned, or ghost, ship.

A piece of curved, reinforced sheet metal has been permanently attached to the front of the vessel's pilot house. This is not normal as it would completely block the crew's view and make it impossible to steer the vessel safely from within the pilot house. Photos elsewhere taken from the other side of the boat show that the barrier does not extend as far around the starboard (right) side of the pilot house.

Also, metal bars that run from just below the roof of the pilot house to the top of the railing seem to prop up the port (left) side of the pilot house. This is not a normal feature of modern naval architectural architecture. Among other things, the row of metal bars would get in the way of people wanting to walk along the port side of the boat.

I can describe the modifications but I'm at a loss to explain them.

Twelfth picture of the series Canes & Mud.

(Just the next day of previous photoshoot, I tryed another time for take longer exposures. For this shot I wanted to guide with the light of dawn on the boat in the foreground)

Magical sunrise in this beautiful place that is the Albufera of Valencia.

The image title is because during the photoshoot, surrounded by all this beauty, calm water, boat, reeds, mud, tranquility, flying birds ... every moment reminded me a lot to the great novel "Cañas y Barro" of the great Valencian writer Vicente Blasco Ibáñez, set in rural Valencia (Albufera) of the early twentieth century, the novel observes and portrays the social reality of the time and place with absolute precision.

Would like to thank this picture to my friend Javier Girbés, which helped me a lot with the location and encouraged me to know this magnificent spot.

On the technical side, say that I only used a neutral gradient three steps filter.

I hope you like it. Have a nice Thursday. :)

The Romanesque church of San Pedro, in the town of Caracena, province of Soria, Spain, was initially built in the 12th century and later various modifications were made, such as the incorporation of the porticoed gallery seen in this photo.

There are seven arches supported by double-shaft columns and one of them has crossed shafts.

The most important thing are the capitals that represent very interesting images: the first one you see is an interweaving of basketry, twelve figures that could be the twelve apostles, the resurrection of Jesus, a bird on a quadruped, two griffins (half eagles, half lions), two knights fighting with lances on their horses, and the last one is a centaur.

The Romanesque church of San Pedro was declared a National Monument on December 23, 1935, during the Second Spanish Republic.
