The South Hangar is part of a two hangar complex that was constructed in 1942. The hangars were constructed using glued aminated timber arches, a creative response to a World War II steel shortage. The hangar housed the U. S. Army Bomber Modification Center and was known as the Riverside Hangar Complex. By the end of the war, 3,286 airplanes were modified, mostly B-24s. In 1945, the military began phasing out the center's operations.
After the war, Northwest Airlines used the Riverside Hangar complex as its overhaul base. In 1959, Northwest moved its operation to Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport. The following year, the 3M Corporation's Aviation Department leased the South Hangar. The South Hangar, as part of the U. S. Army Bomber Modification Center, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
I really like Yoda’s little Starfighter in The Clone Wars, but I didn’t like the old set and the new one didn’t do it for me either… so I rebuilt it. This modification/alternate build uses only pieces from 75360 (none of the extras), the cockpit ‘ball’ is bigger and rounder, the wings are shorter lower and set further forward and the spring-loaded shooters don’t work. Or maybe I should say BUT the spring-loaded shooters don’t work? Anyway, I think I’ve improved the proportions a bit and it’s a pretty solid build. Modifications made to my favorite kind of guitar picks (Dunlop Delrin 500 - 2.0mm).
The Delrin of the guitar pick and strontium aluminate glow powder cannot be successfully combined without drastically changing the properties of the slippery Delrin plastic.
This modification uses commercial glow in the dark tape through a hole in the pick and fixed by cyanoacrylate glue.
The hole also provides improved grip and the ability to change pick angles and the stiffness of the grip by using the inside surfaces of the hole.
Hear how they sound....
Obvious that the interstage transformers must have died at some point, as this repair makes the audio stages capacitor coupled. This will be undone and reverted
One dwarf signal is tipped and the other is lying on the ground so that the Schnabel car can safely traverse the northeast connector track at Congress Park. A fence, a gate, and a crossbuck also had to be removed for the behemoth's massive overhang.
I don't understand how but these construction paper lens caps change the shape of the bokeh into whatever shape you want. I cut the shape of a tree and a dog bone or dog treat here to give this a try.

You can find van conversions like this eurovan on Gowesty and the samba www.gowesty.com and www.thesamba.com/vw/. Eurovan is a great van to go stealth camping in. Camping in the Eurovan is amazing. What I'd like to do is add a swivel seat to the drivers side of the van, add a heater to the van, do some mods to the van, tint the windows in the van, add a high top or a poptop to the van, and also take out the seat that is in it and have a full time bunk bed in the van. A spark from Countess' chimney started a small lineside fire. The following day during the early morning inspection a gap was found between two of the components. About ten minutes before the advertised departure time the workshop staff decided to undertake a tactical modification. The loco was uncoupled from the train and taken to the back door of the loco shed and a couple of patches were welded to the underside of the spark arrestor base plate.
