when somebody sneezed. It rolled off the table and onto the floor and then my poor meatball, it rolled out the door.

I just had it in my head, that I wanted some Ikea meatballs and lingonberry sauce. I actually had new potatoes in mind, but they were serving mashed.
cooking something that will make 16 people happy is not an easy task. luckily there were not any "real" vegetarians.
We topped a frozen Red Baron's, on sale a couple weeks ago at VONS. The spinach probably went in too soon (it got crunchy), and the meatball chunks were sort of humongous, but hey, it's a more 3D pizza.
Inside this magical meatball was a rack of lamb. The ball was studded with dried fruits and nuts all swimming in a savory but light tomato-based broth. It was huge. Servers came along and proceeded to open up the giant ball with two spoons, revealing the rack, which was awesomely tender for being wrapped up in ground meat.
A split Portuguese slathered with refried mashed pork fat-fried black beans, avocado, filled with a trio of well cooked pork-veal meatballs in a chipotle-laced gravy. It's like a saucy hamburger and about as filling as one ($7.25). Though decent, my preference were with the tostadas.
My parent’s church held Sunday afternoon program to celebrate the couples in their church. My parents were honored as the couple married the longest in their church. They have been married 62 years.

That's right. I'm a vegetarian. But I just had a blast (!) making meatballs on my birthday. Tomorrow I'm feeding the family and I think about 70 should suffice...
