... For the sandwich roll, I added some potato flour to Peter Reinhart's white bread recipe in "The Bread Baker's Apprentice". This is a great soft roll which almost melts in your mouth, all together with the tender meatballs and mozzarella.

They sells really good meatballs in this shop... the lady boss loves her pictures though and pasted the entire wall with herself in all possible positions and clothing.....

I made Mario Batali's turkey meatballs, and they are delicious. The only downside is the recipe makes enough to feed an army.

Okay...I did take this photo of Meatball last night (Monday night)...but I have to tell you, this is the time when my batteries were giving out and telling me that I didn't have any power left! I had only been at the shelter for less then 45 minutes when this happened. I didn't even know this one would turn out. So Vickie, here is your Meatball photo...it's not the greatest because frankly, I didn't think it turned out! (stinkin' rechargable batteries)

i have never made meatballs before. these are ground beef with salt, pepper, one raw egg, breadcrumbs, worcestershire sauce, finely chopped sage and parsley, and some horseradish mustard. poached in a weak beef broth to which i added a bay leaf, green peppercorns, and some cloves.
