May 3rd. First time making proper spaghetti & meatballs. It took a little bit of time but the end result was pretty tasty.
Director of Interactive Theresa Riley made tender meatballs with mushroom gravy, following the recipe from participating blogger, Last Night's Dinner. Theresa heroically brought the dish to the office in a crock pot! We gobbled up these meatballs in no time at all.

Our homemade meatballs complimented by onions and red bell peppers. Simply delicious!

This week's recipe from The Pioneer Woman Cooks cookbook is Comfort Meatballs. Mine aren't as pretty as hers were in the book, but they sure were yummy! I did what I could to make mine healthier though -- used ground turkey instead of beef, skim milk, and threw in some organic ground flax seed, too.
Ground beef being non-existent in out stores, Dee found some frozen meatballs so we broke them up and made this meatball chilly. Not to bad!
