It is relaxing when one has the time to watch the clouds. It is also surprising just how fast they move across the sky. This sky was clearing after a storm and sun rays, like "heavenly spotlights" began to appear. This one was the most intense.

I use a Canon 5D Mark II and would be interested if anyone can suggest why a point and shoot camera icon appears as the one used for this shot. I know a 70-200 2.8 would not fit on it.

Another of my pretty collection of orchids. Now have 11 ,all starting to rebloom.

Today was a double whammy sunrise and sunset combo. The mid station at heavenly treated me very nicely.

A very calm body of water reflects the velvety green landscape near Tachika (Si Qu), Sichuan China. The image of two hands pressed together in prayer didn't occur to me at the time I was taking this photo. I was merely mesmerized by the mirror like quality of the lake. Taken on a whim out of a moving van; another lucky shot.

Bohemian National Cemetery also is home to the

Animal Cremation Society of Chicagoland. I found this very touching as I approached the cemetery gates.

There were soo many pretty flowers in Rockport yesterday... I just couldn't resist!!!!!!!

This picture was taken during my weekend trip to eastern washington and was taken in Palouse, WA on the scenic byway. I have some hundreds of pictures from this trip. Every single frame was a picture in this scenic byway. I couldn't help but to stop my car every one minute and take a couple of pictures. It was hard to avoid passing by without a click and weather was perfect with some wonderful clouds as you can see above after a terrible, rainy and cloudy Saturday, I went back Sunday and took these shots.

This really is the most beautiful display of a single kind of flower I have ever seen --- they certainly live up to their name 100 fold. Spotting them yesterday, twining up and around the posts of a wooden fence perhaps 50 feet in length, I could hardly catch my breath.

I do so love all flowers, no matter their color, or whether they are Wild or Cultivated --- but this BLUE is truly Divine --- and has been my very favorite color all my life.
