Dad Died when I was 7, but I always remember his favorite flower was the Heavenly Blue Morning Glory. When I see it open, the light shining through it's center, the delicate blue petals... It's no wonder that it's mine too.

This is dedicated to my dear friend Charlotte. This image just looked so heavenly to me as it came out of camera...As I watch the Perseid Meteor shower tonight I am reminded once again of just how incredible this universe truly is. We are being treated to a great show...admission free.

With around three million day-trippers every year, Heidelberg can boast some of the most impressive visitor statistics in Germany, Europe and probably the world. In some ways this is a shame, because one day really isn't enough. Those who stay just a little longer will discover a host of attractions away from the beaten track and will have more time to soak up the unique atmosphere that sets Heidelberg apart from your average university city. The main attraction for all visitors is, of course, Heidelberg Castle, perched on the slopes of Mount Königstuhl some 70 metres above the Neckar.

Found this little tree only about 10 feet high, had to lay on the ground to get this great looking angles I could see that light rays coming over head so I just waited fot the right moment. it looks as if the light is forcing the tree to bend backward. 400asa film scanned in, toned and grain added in PS.
