The cathedral's pipe organ which was built by T. C. Lewis and Co of Brixton, England. Over six and half thousand pounds were spent on its construction, shipping and installation before it was played at the cathedral's opening in 1891. Various modifications and maintenance works have been carried out since then, culminating in a $726,000 restoration which was completed in 1990 with the help of a National Trust appeal. In its restored state the organ has four manuals with 44 stops and pedals with nine stops, all with electro-pneumatic action. It is housed in the cathedral's south transept behind newly-stencilled facade pipes.
Here's a link to download an MP3 of JS Bach - Sinfonia to Cantata 29 (arr Gehring) - played by David Ratnanayagam on the St Paul's Cathedral organ.

The cloister, Lincoln Cathedral. Taken with a D7100 with a 16-85mm lens at its widest aperture. To get the lighting right I set me exposure mode to spot metering and exposed for the stone work and accepted that some of the windows would lose detail. I processed in SilverEfex to even up the exposure on the window frames.

It struck me that people often day that chocolate is “heaven” or the “food of the gods”. Therefore, why shouldn’t it come to us from on high?
This year the FFF+ Group have decided to have a weekly challenge called “Snap Happy”. A different theme chosen by a member of the group each week, and the image is to be posted on the Monday of the week.
This week the theme, “chocolate” was chosen by GG, Greenstone Girl.
The chocolates in this fanciful image came from the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie after a recent visit to the neighbouring Alowyn Gardens. The chocolates on view are:
Top row left to right: Chilli Bomb, Pink Diamond, Apple Cider and Peanut Butter.
Second row left to right in a slight zig-zag: Sweet Honey Crunch, Strawberry Delight, Turkish Rose, Sesame Almond Fan and Bush Tucker.
Bottom row: Whiskey Dream, Raspberry Sweet Heart, Zingy Lime and Mango Tango.
Prompt: Create a heartwarming, ethereal digital fine art of an elderly woman wearing a flowing, elegant white gown with delicate lace and chiffon layers. She sits gracefully on a soft, billowing cloud, her back to the viewer. In her arms, she tenderly hugs a fluffy West Highland White Terrier puppy, whose small head rests contentedly against her chest. The Westie has a beautiful pair of angel wings, their edges glowing with a subtle golden hue. A warm, heavenly light streams down from above, casting a radiant halo around them. Tiny, shimmering sparkles drift in the air, adding a magical, celestial atmosphere. The entire scene is softly focused, with dreamy gradients of pastel gold, cream, and pale blue filling the sky. Aspect Ratio Square

*All I Need* ~ song lyrics by within temptation

I'm dying to catch my breath
Oh why don't i ever learn
I've lost all my trust that i'm sure we try to
Turn it around
Can you still see the heart of me
All my agony fades away
When you hold me in your embrace
Don't tear me down
For all i need
Make my heart a better place
Give me something I can believe
Don't turn me down
You're far from the door now
Don't let it close
He only had to go
I wish I could let it go
I know that I'm only one step away
From turning around
Can you still see the heart of me
All my agony fades away
When you hold me in your embrace
Don't tear me down
For all i need
Make my heart a better place
Give me something I can believe
Don't turn it down
What's left of me
Make my heart a better place
I've tried many times but nothing was real
Make it fade away
Don't break me down
I want to believe that this is for real
Save me from my fear
Don't turn me down
Don't tear me down
For all i need
Make my heart a better place
Don't tear me down
For all i need
Make my heart a better place
Give me something i can believe
Don't tear it down
What's left of me
Make my heart a better place

Don't you just love that heavenly glow of the sun going down even on a winters evening.
Just out wondering an airfield thinking about how much noise and activity would be taking place here back in the war years. I am actually by one of the hardstandings for planes here.
So much more peaceful now.
I've come to love rainy days for the variety of photographic opportunities they provide.
多雨的台北住習慣了之後發現下雨天有其自有的美感,而現在反而讓我覺得有拍不完的好題材.

感謝影像解讀者兼友人給這張取名為"天空的眼淚".
My friend and trusted critic named this "tears of heaven" in Chinese. However, not only was that title taken by a famous song, but it doesn't imply in English the feeling of wonderment and joy the image conveys to me. So rather than tears that heaven is crying I prefer to think of them as tears that could only be heavenly or other-worldly.
Love is all
Love is all around you
Love is there in your laughter
In your hair
Love flows everywhere.
Love is old
Love is older than you
But the light shining through
Makes me see
Your love is all new.
Hey
Sha la la
Shine a light
Shine on me
Shine your light on me
Sha la la
Shine your light on me.
Love is all
Love will always be The Law
And higher love radiates on us all
On us all.
