The ideal is to find things that have rusted naturally, but that’s not always possible. I decided to try a new rust effect product on some items laying around the house, to see what would happen. As you can see this rust effect product works very well on plastic, wood or even glass. Also possible to paint with it. Have a good fun. I finally marked white water rafting off of my bucket list last weekend. A group of friends and I rafted along the middle and lower Ocoee River in Tennessee. This is the same river that hosted several kayaking and rafting competitions during the 1996 Summer Olympics...however I don't think I performed 1/10 as well as those Olympians! It was a blast though, and I enjoyed every single second (as you can probably tell..I'm the one in the upper middle that is laughing all of the way...although maybe I was screaming in terror at this point...I can't remember).
We are already planning a second trip where we plan to include the upper Ocoee as well, which has more Class IV's and V's. (this was mainly III's and IV's). Now that I've got one trip under my belt, I'm sure those Class V's will be a breeze! (not!)
If you haven't been, you should definitely check it out! The scenery is gorgeous and the rush is just awesome!

This is an attempt on a very dreamy scene on sleeping a sleeping tree next to the feringasee near Munich, Germany. This Image had the Orton Effect applied to it and has been slightly proccessed to boost the colors a tiny bit.
This was created using the same picture that was in droste01. Youtube Droste effect and their are how to's on their. gavin huey (think that's his name)made a simple to understand video.
I tried some HDR effect on this thing...turns out something very funny.... that's look like a bowl of bug rice straight from Hell.....

I did some post-production colour balancing to achieve this effect. It means adding a LOT of red that can then alter the water colour and make it purple. The only 'manipulation' I made other than the colour balance was to 'shift' all the purple blue. In real life the water is more green than blue.. but this is the best I could do.
