Pero los impulsos de esta fase son puestos de nuevo en actividad de una nueva manera «civilizada»: prácticamente sin sublimación, llegan a ser actividades socialmente útiles en los campos de concentración y de trabajo, en las guerras coloniales y civiles, las expediciones punitivas y otras cosas por el estilo (...)

I was just toying with some special effects for photos that simulate earlier photographic processes. The Autochrome process actually precedes the vintage of this vehicle.

Tilted the camera to get this effect. Pretty much nothing photoshopped, only thing is the basic contrast adjustments
iPhone 5s photo with slight paint effect added in iPhoto on an iPad Air. The heron was only a few feet away and I held the cell phone steady against a tree, so it was sharp for a cell phone photo, but too many important details were stll not clear enough. Hence my attempt at painterly healing of the photo blemishes. (This is on the edge of Lake Ella here in Tallahassee.)
Effector (Gas Mask-controlled).
This is an effector that is controlled by a gas mask that contains a mic and a contact mic.
It is used for noise live performances.

Christmas gift my sis. Hard to eliminate the glare on this one, since I gave it a high dome for optimal chatoyancy.
Silicified crocidolite (asbestos). The chatoyancy (cat's eye effect) comes from the asbestos fibers.
