Turned the focus dial on my 70-200mm VR lens very slowly while on 30 second exposure to get this effect of the Sydney Harbour Bridge. What helped most was the large focus range from infinity then 10m to 1.5m.

Every so often, even on a bright sunny day, a low thick fog will roll in off of the lake and blanket the city in a bright grey. If you happen to be in the thick of it, visibility drops to only about 20 meters.

John Hay. Negative Effect on my phone camera

On May 22, 2024, I dropped by the Albany Pine Bush Preserve in Albany, New York, USA & was tickled to see the wild Blue Lupine in bloom & two of the first hatch endangered Karner Blue Butterflies! One butterfly perched long enough for me to grab a few photos! One of four photos from my walk. I added an oil painting effect to the photo of the Lupine. I think it makes a lovely computer wallpaper!
