Trees and scrub behind the pond are lit up by the afternoon sun and create an interesting visual effect on the water reflections...Thanks to jim (MyArtistSoul) for the title idea!

The effect comes from the setting sun.

(Mobile phone camera shot - I have my big one with me too, but not the right cords to actually transfer files at the moment.)

It was a bluebird sky when we left for Squamish the other day, but I was happy to see this large cloud over the mountain to add some interest to the sky. This is the Squamish estuary - the tide was the lowest I've ever seen it.
Another few weeks and there will be a lot more green here - right now it's still kind of wintery looking.

This artwork has been updated with better details and more shadow effects and also resize the smoke effect to make it look better. The Artistic version will stay like it is...

This is a remake of an old photo of mine and I have no idea how I got this effect. I'm still trying to remember how I did it! I used to try lots of crazy things and got some strange results.

So I went out my back door to take out the trash and there were over thirty Monarch butterflies in my tiny urban backyard! I thought I had walked into a magical dream.
In the mystical realm of possibilities, where the boundaries of reality and chaos intertwine, a fascinating convergence occurred. In this captivating dance between moths and destiny, the butterfly effect unfurled its wings, weaving a tale of interconnectedness.
It was dark and the rain had begun, which made capturing this wing flap an absolute challenge, but I really enjoy the effect of the slower shutter in this image

I saw the rising moon lighting-up the anvil canopy of a distant thunderstorm, and waited until the moon broke free. It created a nice effect.

Addendum: I failed to explain earlier what I did here, but thought I would add a few late words. For any who are interested, I experimented with rotating the image multiple times and played around with blend modes in Photoshop to get this effect, which I rather like.
I seem to have accidentally spilled in the whole bottle of depression into the mix.
Enjoy a little colour in the midst of the spoopy season. It'll do you good, I swear it.

It is always difficult to focus on a main subject and make the background blurry. If we use big aperture or small F number. The subject will not be completely in focus. That is why we use the focus stuck and combine at least five pictures together. The sun in the background creates special bokeh effect, and the lens type and post processing software create circular effect. I want to have better pictures, but it takes time and effort. Have a wonderful weekend.
Illuminated tunnel under the tracks of the main station in the direction of Konrad-Adenauer-Ufer,
LED spotlights were placed below and to the side of the steel arches on both sides and aligned so that the grazing light effect accentuates the particular steel construction and steel rivets.
Passed several times under this tunnel and the combination of turquoise_Orange colours called my attention and thought it was worth a shot.
Cropped and then used Adobe photoshop beta cosmos 11 effect. Big thanks to John Lunt for suggesting I use this particular effect in this manner!*
