Chemin de Fer du Vivarais: in the good time of this tourist railway, the diesel railcar number 213 ex CFD Vivarais (Billard A 150D, 1938) arrives at the Torunon station, working a train from Lamastre. (Improved scan of a paper photo taken by me).
Transports en commun lyonnais (TCL, operated by Keolis Lyon): the only metro line in the world equipped with a rack system is line C of the Lyon network. Five two-car EMUs, built by Alsthom and SLM and put into service in 1984, are in service here.
Here we see the EMU formed by cars 208 and 207 at the Hôtel de Ville lower terminal.

Chemin de fer à vapeur des Trois Vallées (CFV3V): this association operates a tourist railway between Mariembourg and Treignes, in a stretch of 14 km on the line 132. This line was put into service between 1852 and 1854. The passenger service was suspended in 1963, and the freight service in 1971. The first tourist trains ran between Nismes and Treignes in 1976 and from Mariembourg in 1977. The association CF3V has a workshop in Mariembourg (with the last turntable in service in Belgium) and a museum in Treignes.
Inside the museum of Treignes, the 4-6-2 Pacific steam locomotive number 1002, a SNCB - Type 1, which was part of the series 1001 to 1035 built between 1935 and 1938.
R15022. Class X3800 ‘Picasso’ diesel railcars at Arques on the The Chemin de fer Touristique de la Vallée de L’Aa (or Aa Valley Tourist Railway).
This is a volunteer run heritage railway based at Arques in northern France around 49km (or 30½ miles) from the Channel Coast at Calais. It’s 15km ( or a bit over 9 miles) long and ends at Lumbres.
As well as Picasso railcars there are also loco hauled passenger carriages for which the motive power is a BB63000 B-B diesel-electric locomotive or a Polish Ty2 ‘Kriegslok’ 2-10-0.

SNCF: the electric shunting locomotive 80012 heads a Corail Téoz set, to tow it to the sidings.
The Class BB 80000 consisted of twelve locomotives for passenger train shunting, resulting from the transformation of many other BB 8100 series electric locomotives, carried out between 1995 and 1997. They were put out of service between 2002 and 2010.
The original BB 8100 series consisted of 172 locomotives (8001 and 8101 to 8171), built by Alsthom, Jeumont-Schneider and Oerlikon between 1948 and 1955.
The locomotive of this photo, the BB 80012, is the old BB 8193. It was transformed on January 15, 1997 and put out of service on July 1, 2009.

You will notice that the axle is still missing, therefore the bogie is put on the small stand and strapped to the main body.

A long way from Squamish... After having to shut down their lead engine, former BCOL B39-8E 3904, to troubleshoot compressor issues, the maquinista and jefe de tren of this Ferrocarril del Istmo de Tehuantepec (FIT) crew are restarting the locomotive's 7FDL prime mover so they can resume their work in the small Campeche yard and start their trip north to Escarcega. While the Mérida shops forces do their best to keep these old machines running, failures on the road are quite common.
