(EN) On the morning of 22/09/2015. there was a rather unusual sight at Zagreb's main railway station, because the most powerful Croatian locomotive series 1142 rarely gets in charge of regional train services. The next-to-last locomotive of the series, 1142 015, was given the task of bringing the regional train 2013 to Vinkovci, which it will work off easily, as there are only three wagons to be hauled and the route is running throughout the lowland.

 

(DE) Ein eher ungewohnter Anblick ist am Vormittag des 22.09.2015. am Zagreber Hauptbahnhof zu sehen, denn die leistungsstärkste kroatische Lokbaureihe 1142 verirrt sich nur selten an die Spitze von Regionalzugleistungen. Die vorletzte Lokomotive der Reihe, 1142 015, bekam die Aufgabe den Regionalzug 2013 nach Vinkovci zu bringen, welche sie mit nur drei Wagen am Haken und auf der durchgehend im Flachland verlaufenden Strecke wohl problemlos bewältigen wird.

 

(EN) In the past three years, the croatian VT 612, which are usually in charge of the intercity services to Split, more often go astray on the Varazdin diesel route, mostly as a replacement for the three-part DMU prototype 7022 001. The 7123 001/002 came on wintry 07/02/2015. for the first time on this route, seen here as regional train 3011 from Varazdin to Zagreb in the long curve before entering the station of Zabok.

 

(DE) In den letzten drei Jahren verirren sich die eigentlich für die Intercity-Leistungen nach Split bestimmten kroatischen VT 612 öfters auf die Varazdiner Dieselstrecke, meistens als Ersatz für den dreiteiligen VT-Prototyp 7022 001. Der 7123 001/002 kam am winterlichen 07.02.2015. das erste Mal zum Einsatz auf dieser Strecke, hier zu sehen als Regionalzug 3011 von Varazdin nach Zagreb in der langen Kurve vor der Einfahrt in den Bahnhof von Zabok.

Here we see the 2-6-0 steam locomotive 30 476 from the Compagnie des chemin de fer de l'Est (later SNCF 130 B 476). Was built by Ateliers d'Épernay in 1922.

SNCF: EMU 92057/92058, which is part of the small series of six double-decker EMUs of the type built for the Paris suburban services (Class Z 20500), but adapted to regional services in the Nord-Pas-deCalais region.

R15023. A Class X3800 ‘Picasso’ diesel railcar at Arques on the The Chemin de fer Touristique de la Vallée de L’Aa (or Aa Valley Tourist Railway). This is a volunteer run heritage railway based at Arques in northern France around 49km (or 30½ miles) from the Channel Coast at Calais. It’s 15km ( or a bit over 9 miles) long and ends at Lumbres.

 

As well as Picasso railcars there are also loco hauled passenger carriages for which the motive power is a BB63000 B-B diesel-electric locomotive or a Polish Ty2 ‘Kriegslok’ 2-10-0.

(EN) During the winter the long-distance trains from Zagreb to Split are instead of VT 612 consisted as a classic train set with locomotive and cars, and the railcars are used on other diesel routes in Croatia, also on the Zagreb – Varazdin mainline . On snowy 29/12/2014. has the 7123 005/6 just left the station Hum-Lug as regional train 3011 from Varazdin to Zagreb and is powering towards its next intermediate stop Zabok.

 

(DE) Während des Winters werden die Fernzüge von Zagreb nach Split anstatt mit VT 612 als klassischer Zugverband mit Lok und Wagen geführt, und die Triebwagen gelangen zum Einsatz auf anderen Dieselstrecken in Kroatien, unter anderem auch auf der Hauptstecke Zagreb – Varazdin. Der 7123 005/6 hat soeben am winterlichen 29.12.2014. als Regionalzug 3011 von Varazdin nach Zagreb die Haltestelle Hum-Lug verlassen und dieselt seinem nächsten Zwischenhalt Zabok entgegen.

On a sunny winter day, the first after the timetable change, croatian diesel-electric locomotive 2044 016 is entering Hum-Lug station on the Zagreb - Varazdin line with the passenger service no. 3006 from croatian capital Zagreb to Kotoriba at the hungarian border.

SNCF: the electric locomotive (50)9220, in Fret SNCF colours, heads a set of Corail cars.

 

Between 1957 and 1964, Jeumont-Schneider, CEM and Creusot built 92 Class BB 9200 electric DC locomotives for passenger trains as part of the "BB Jacquemin" family. The last locomotives of the series were put out of service in 2007.
