SNCF Voyageurs: the electric locomotive 215045 pushes a reversible set of double-decker cars of type VB 2N, working the TER 51007 train from Paris-Saint Lazare to Evreux Normandie.
Not one of my best shots, but one for the record. The 18:55 Margam TC - Margam TC railhead treatment train is seen at Coryton - the terminus of the branch from the Rhymney Valley Line at Heath Junction. The train completes an 18 hour journey each night, taking in the Vale of Glamorgan, south Wales main line, Coryton, Brithdir, south Wales mainiine, Swansea district line, Pembroke Dock and Milford Haven,

A long way from Squamish... After having to shut down their lead engine, former BCOL B39-8E 3904, to troubleshoot compressor issues, the maquinista and jefe de tren of this Ferrocarril del Istmo de Tehuantepec (FIT) crew are restarting the locomotive's 7FDL prime mover so they can resume their work in the small Campeche yard and start their trip north to Escarcega. While the Mérida shops forces do their best to keep these old machines running, failures on the road are quite common.

● La locomotive MF 83 de 1916 provient des charbonnages de Monceau – Fontaine, à Monceau ( Belgique 🇧🇪 ).
De conception simple, elle est prévue pour effectuer un service de manœuvres. Elle fut la dernière machine à vapeur en service dans ce charbonnage. Elle a été transférée par ses propres moyens à Mariembourg le 24 mai 1980. Cette machine est propriété du CFV3V.
Fin 2011, les responsables du parc roulant du CFV3V ont décidé de la mise à la retraite définitive de la locomotive à vapeur MF 83 …
Sa mécanique fatiguée n’était que source de désagréments et cette locomotive indisposait tous les membres actifs, mêmes les plus motivés … Toujours des problèmes, sans cesse ! Une décision sage a été prise : BONNE RETRAITE !
Fin 2016, la locomotive a été vendue et elle a quitté le sol belge "pour les trains des rêves à Dracy-Saint-Loup ( France )" le mercredi 12 avril 2017.

Colas Rail Class 66 loco 66846 is seen at Cardiff Central while on a light engine working from Bristol Parkway to Swansea. The other end of the engine was carrying track recording equipment.
(EN) In 2015, the majority of regional services around Zagreb was still covered by loco-hauled trains, and all electric locomotives of the 1141-300 series were still in full operation. One of the best photo opportunities in the morning was the regional train 4057 from Ogulin to Zagreb. On 24/09/2015 it was hauled by 1141 385, which was withdrawn ten months later because of the expired revisions and since then it’s waiting for major overhauls. Consisted of three cars, which has been typical for regional services, it was captured at the entrance to the platform at the western end of Zagreb's main railway station.
(DE) Im Jahr 2015 war ein Großteil der Regionalzüge rund um Zagreb noch lokbespannt und alle E-Loks der Baureihe 1141-300 waren damals noch im Vollbetrieb. Einer der Motivklassiker am Vormittag war auch der Regionalzug 4057 von Ogulin nach Zagreb. Am 24.09.2015. war an seiner Spitze die 1141 385, welche knappe zehn Monate später wegen Fristablaufs abgestellt wurde und seitdem auf eine Hauptausbesserung wartet. Im für den Regionalverkehr typischen Drei-Wagen-Verband wurde er von mir bei der Einfahrt an das Kopfgleis am westlichen Ende des Zagreber Hauptbahnhofs bildlich festgehalten.
CFL: as part of celebrations of the 150th anniversary of the railway in Luxembourg, the weekend of 9 and 10 May was organized an international exhibition of rolling stock in Luxembourg Gare deposit. During both days, a shuttle train with steam locomotives linked the station with the deposit.
The 4-6-0 steam locomotive 64.169 was bult by Henschel in 1921 (works number 18939) for the Romanian railways, where he was numbered 230.084. In 2001 was acquired by the Belgian association Patrimoine Ferroviaire et Tourisme/Toerisme en SpoorPatrimonium (PFT/TSP) and it was put back into service in 2007. The current number is located below the series of P8 Prussian locomotives of Belgian Railways SNCB (64.001 – 61.168).

Chemin de fer à vapeur des Trois Vallées (CFV3V): this association operates a tourist railway between Mariembourg and Treignes, in a stretch of 14 km on the line 132. This line was put into service between 1852 and 1854. The passenger service was suspended in 1963, and the freight service in 1971. The first tourist trains ran between Nismes and Treignes in 1976 and from Mariembourg in 1977. The association CF3V has a workshop in Mariembourg (with the last turntable in service in Belgium) and a museum in Treignes.
Here we see the Belgian diesel railcar 4407. The 10 Class 44 railcars (old type 604) were built by Germain and Nivelles between 1954 and 1955 for the SNCB. Was put out of service in 2002 and acquired by the CF3V in 2003.
