Chemins de Fer de Provence (CP, operated by the Régie Régionale des Transports PACA): the metric gauge Nice-Digne railway line was put into service by sections between 1891 and 1911. With a length of 151 km, it is the only survivor of an extensive network of secondary railways built by the Compagnie des chemins de fer du Sud de la France, which in its maximum extension exceeded 450 km. Although it was threatened with closure on several occasions, the public authorities that operate it today have guaranteed its survival by making significant investments in infrastructure and rolling stock.
Currently, is provided an important suburban service between Nice and Colomars, and a regional service of balance of the territory between Nice and Digne (five to six daily trains). In addition, between May and October a steam train runs between Puget-Théniers and Annot, operated by the association Groupe d'Etude pour les Chemins de fer de Provence (GECP). The service is provided with seven SY diesel railcars (built by CFD between 1971 and 1977, although several of them are out of service), a DMU of two cars built by Soulé-Garnéro in 1984, and four DMUs of two cars type AMP (built by CFD in 2010, one out of service since the serious accident suffered in 2014). The railway also has several locomotives, cars and wagons.

150213 and 150262 stand at Cardiff Central on 19th July having just arrived with the 1Z38 1845 Builth Road to Cardiff Central service. This was the return working of a special train conveying passengers to the Royal Welsh Show at Builth Wells. Both outward and return workings had travelled via the Swansea District Line.

SNCF: leaves Perpignan station a TER regional train to Avignon, headed by the electric locomotive BB 26090, with a consist of six Corail carriages.
After dropping a single loaded soy car at the west end of the siding, a SLR local out of Richmond is getting ready to lift 5 empty cars and head back east. Distribution Upton operates a busy transloading facility that mostly handles propane and grain products, and is usually served by the Richmond-Southwark road freight. Consist : SLR 3804, SLR 805.
Retour à vide sur Clermont Ferrand pour la rame de coils descendue précédemment sur Saint Chély d’Apcher via Neussargues, le convoi passe Albaret-Sainte-Marie sous un soleil couchant avec 50 minutes d’avance sur son horaire et arrivera en milieu de soirée à Clermont. La BB 67460 était en tête accompagnée de la BB 67629 derrière. Le 27 Février 2018.

SNCF: a train of locomotives, with several Class BB 9200, through Versailles-Chantiers station. Is headed by the BB 9272.
The Class BB 9200 consisted of 92 electric locomotives for passenger trains on direct current lines (1,500 V). They were built by Creusot-Loire, Jeumont-Schneider and CEM and put into service between 1957 and 1964. The last locomotive of the series was decommissioned in 2015.

(EN) In the early evening of 25/05/2014. the railcar 7121 030 as regional train 3131 from Djurmanec to Zabok is running through the fields and marshes near Strucljevo. In few minutes, the DMU will reach the junction Zabok, where trains to Varazdin and Zagreb will be connected. About half an hour later it will go backwards to bring home a lot of schoolchildren and employees after a long working day.
(DE) Am frühen Abend des 25.05.2014. dieselte der Triebwagen 7121 030 als Regionalzug 3131 von Djurmanec nach Zabok durch die Felder und Sümpfe in der Nähe von Strucljevo. In Kürze wird der VT den Taktknoten Zabok erreichen, wo Anschluss an die Züge nach Varazdin sowie Zagreb besteht. Eine gute halbe Stunde später geht es für ihn dann wieder zurück, um als abendlicher Bummelzug zahlreiche Schüler und Erwerbstätige nach einem langen Arbeitstag endlich nach Hause zu bringen.

La BB 22308, revêtue de sa livrée "En Voyage", assure un IC TER reliant Marseille-St-Charles à Nice-Ville avec sa rame réversible régionale. La rame s'imobilise en gare de Toulon, premier arrêt commercial du parcours.
Ce Dimanche dernier circulait des marchandises un peu spéciales sur ce convoi militaire 480027 reliant Sibelin à Miramas puis la Seyne sur mer, tracté par la BB 26197. De passage à Saint Martin de Crau. Le 01.04.18

Na een uitzonderlijk jaar eindelijk weer tijd voor de fotohobby!
Vanwege de hoge temperaturen van vandaag, maar een verfrissende foto geplaatst. Eén van de weinige uitstapjes waar het afgelopen jaar tijd voor was, voerde op 12 februari jl. naar de nabij mijn woonplaats gelegen Eempolder.
Op 1 februari 2021 werd de eerste grote groep Stads-Gewestelijk-Materieel (SGM) terzijde gesteld. Dit betrof vijf twee-wagenstellen en twintig drie-wagenstellen. Daardoor verdween er per die datum het SGM-materieel op veel trajecten. Zo ook op de Gooilijn waar de inzet van SGM-materieel jarenlang een vaste waarde is geweest.
Winterweer ontregelde vanaf 8 februari het treinverkeer. Nadat aanvankelijk het treinverkeer in het geheel werd stilgelegd, werd er vanaf 10 februari weer gereden met het treinmaterieel dat op dat moment voorhanden was. Zo kwam SGM-materieel op 12 februari weer in actie op de Gooilijn en kon er zodoende voor de laatste keer met Stads-Gewestelijk-Materieel naar de Keistad worden gereisd.
De eerste terzijdestelling van het SGM-materieel is aan de treinstellen 2966 en 2980 voorbij gegaan. De foto toont de rond de veertig jaar oude treinstellen, wanneer deze met een gangetje van zo’n 115 km/u als trein 15847 door een winterse Eempolder rijden. Over enkele minuten zal Amersfoort worden bereikt, waarna de trein doorrijdt naar de eindbestemming Amersfoort-Vathorst.
Aan het einde van de dag zouden de treinstellen terecht komen op het opstelterrein Amersfoort-Bokkeduinen, waarna zij de volgende dag een aantal diensten tussen Utrecht en Hoofddorp zouden rijden. Daarna restte voor de treinstellen nog een aantal maanden dienst tussen Den Haag C en Dordrecht; de laatst overgebleven treinserie waar SGM werd ingezet.

Het waren in 2013 wereldwijd de oudste elektrische locomotieven die in de normale dienst werden ingezet. De dagelijkse inzet eindigde na 102 jaar op 27 oktober 2013. Het gaat hier over de oorspronkelijk 16 locomotieven die destijds als ‘Reihe E’ door de Niederösterreichischen Landesbahnen (NÖLB) zijn aangeschaft. Vanaf 1946 gingen de locomotieven als Reihe 1099 van de Österreichischen Bundesbahnen (ÖBB) door het leven.
Van de Reihe 1099 zijn er tegenwoordig nog drie exemplaren rijvaardig, waarvan één locomotief in de fraaie klassieke ‘Jaffa-look’ uit de jaren ’70 en ‘80. Deze locomotief - met nummer 1099.14 - wordt slechts incidenteel ingezet.
Op 11 mei 2019 werd op de zogenaamde ‘Bergstrecke’ van de Mariazellerbahn een speciale trein ingezet met de 1099.14. Voor de gelegenheid werd de complete trein samengesteld in de juiste kleurstelling en met de juiste logo’s en opschriften uit de jaren ’80.
Voor de fijnproevers: de trein was samengesteld uit locomotief 1099.14 (met ÖBB-logo; de “Pflatsch”) en de rijtuigen BD 4100 + B 3120 + B 3159 + B3146 + GG 16841 (eveneens voorzien van “Pflatsch”).

Arriva Trains Wales Class 150 DMU and an unidentified classmate are seen approaching Waun-Gron Park station, with the 2A18 1441 Cardiff Central to Aberdare service on Tuesday 29th March 2016. Due to engineering works at Cardiff Central, trains between there and Aberdare were being diverted via the 'City Line' to Radyr. Trains ran non-stop between Cardiff and Radyr, with intermediate stations on the City Line between Cardiff and Radyr not being served.
Needed a slightly higher shutter speed, but one for the records.
