We had a helpers dinner today at the Bahnpark Brugg for everyone helping to maintain our historic machines.
1367 does not belong to our club, but the mood was simply great.
I ended the beautiful day at the elevated track near Hrastovlje, almost halfway the climb from Koper to Črnotiče. The RG1604 to Maribor and Budapest was followed by an uphill container train. It is seen here at the entrance of Hrastovlje station, which is today only served by a bus service. Above the train, on the other side of the valley, the tracks cut through the steep hills. The train will be there in only a few minutes.

SNCF Mobilités: a class Z 27500 EMU (type ZGC, number 27944/27943) arrives at the station of Pagny-sur-Moselle, working a regional train to Nancy.
On a lovely August evening, a QGRY switcher is drilling cars in Trois-Rivières yard for the two evening jobs that will serve customers in the area. Locomotive 2300 was born a C&O GP40, and was rebuilt in the early 90's with a HEP generator and used in commuter service on the Virginia Railway Express. It was rebuilt yet again and had its' HEP generator removed (as evidenced by the missing radiator grill section in the back), and was then acquired by QGRY with 2 other identical units in 2012.

I'm neither a typical collector of stamps, nor a stamp dealer. I'm only a stamp photograph. I'm fascinated of the fine close-up structures which are hidden in this small stamp-pictures. Please don't ask of the worth of these stamps - the most ones have a worth of a few cents or still less.
By the way, I wanna say thank you to all flickr users who have sent me stamps! Great! Thank you! Someone sent me 3 or 5 stamps, another one sent me more than 20 stamps in a letter. It's everytime a great surprise for me and I'm everytime happy to get letters with stamps inside from you!

Photos from the Chemin de Fer de la Baie de Somme in Northern France, taken between 8th and 13th 2022. The locos are Corpet - Louvet No 15 built in 1925 and Pinguely No 101 built in 1905.

Machupicchu pueblo (anciennement Aguas Calientes) est un village situé au Pérou sur le río Urubamba. Il est connu comme le village le plus proche du Machu Picchu. C'est aussi le terminus de la ligne Ferrocarril Santa Ana de la compagnie PeruRail venant de Cuzco.
Machupicchu pueblo possède aussi des bains chauds naturels, qui ont donné à la ville son nom originel Aguas Calientes (« eaux chaudes » en espagnol), rebaptisée depuis pour des raisons touristiques.
Le 11 avril 2004, à la suite de deux glissements de terrain, six personnes ont trouvé la mort à Aguas Calientes. Il y a eu 5 disparus et 6 blessés ; de plus, 1 500 touristes ont été bloqués sur le site de Machu Picchu, accessible seulement depuis ce village.

The journey to Dresden went flawlessly. After checking into my hotel I took a train to Dresden Hbf, where I expected a couple of EuroNight trains. These trains change locos in Dresden, so it was a good opportunity to check out the Czech Skoda electrics, that would soon be replaced by modern Siemens Vectron locomotives.

SNCF Class CC 72000 diesel 72079 pauses at the southern end of Troyes station en route to Mulhouse, Alsace. Postal workers have finished loading the mail and the tractor and trailers are pulling away. I had travelled on this train from Paris Gare de l'Est.
This class of C′C′ diesel-electric locomotives were designed and built by French manufacturing conglomerate Alsthom. They are regarded as being the most powerful class of diesel locomotives to be built in France.
SNCF Voyageurs: two EMUs of the Regio 2N type, in "Île-de-France Mobilités" colours, at full speed on track 1 of the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges station, working a Transilien commuter train on the R line.
THI Factory (subsidiary of Eurostar International): the TGV PBKA set number 4306 working the train Thalys 9365 from Paris-Nord to Bruxelles Midi.

Hier, j'ai fait une sortie photos avec Ti-Nounours. Direction route 132. Nous nous sommes promené a travers différents rangs dans les terres et nous avons visité des endroits au bord du Fleuve entre Beaumont et Berthier-sur-Mer. . C'était la première fois que je me promenais là-bas en hiver. Malgré un très beau ciel bleu et beaucoup de soleil, les grands vents rendaient la température glaciale.... Mais c'était tellement beau :-)

Le 13 Juillet 2017, la BB 22368 assurait le Naviland Fos Graveleau - Bordeaux Hourcade, de passage en fin de journée entre Istres et Miramas avec quelques minutes de retard.
A Ferrocarril del Istmo de Tehuantepec (FIT) northbound freight is rolling through Mérida's Ciudad Industrial, where most of the railroad's Mérida trafic originates. A number a industries are located here, including a massive CEMEX cement plant and this delightfully modelable hopper-to-truck transload terminal. I also believe the coiled steel wire lying on the ground came out of gondolas. FIT rents a number of former BC Rail B39-8E's from PQ Logistics, but 3904 has been kept the most original. Crews on FIT are made of 4 crew members: 1 maquinista (engineer), 1 jefe de tren (conductor) and 2 garroteros (brakemen). Consist : BOTX 3904, BOTX 1883.
