The SNCF autorail X 76802 is part of the X 76500 series (also known as XGC), which is the diesel version of the high-capacity Autorail à Grande Capacité (AGC) trainsets produced by Alstom.
Bien loin de ses terres alsaciennes, le WIT (Wagon d'Inspection des Tunnels) de Strasbourg, est venu en renfort en Île-de-France sur la région de Paris-St-Lazare.
Encadré par les Y 8288 et Y 8369, cette petite compo sympathique partie de Conflans-Ste-Honorine quelques minutes auparavant, se rend au Triage d'Argenteuil sous la marche 817942.
L'ABe 2/6 633 "La Gruère" di CJ sta per raggiungere la fermata di Le Pied-d'Or per poi prosegue il suo viaggio verso Le Noirmont come R 37 154 (Tavannes - Le Noirmont). Le Chemins de fer du Jura dispongono dal 2001 di quattro GTW di produzione Stadler... nonostante l'arrivo di sei nuovi elettrotreni, sempre realizzati da Stadler, i vecchi GTW prestano ancora servizio, ma verranno venduti nei prossimi anni.

In the second half of september 2016 I had a week off work that I used for a trip to some - for me - unknown territory: the Czech and Slovak republics. Day 1 of the trip was the day to cover most of the distance: destination Dresden. I would use the following days to follow the Elbe river to Usti Nad Labem, and then follow the freight trains and see where I end up.
First stop was still in Belgium though, to make a photo of a pilgrimage train returning from Lourdes. I met up with a friend in Marche-les-Dames, where the train passed us on the track that's normally used for trains in the other direction. Never mind, the steep rocks still look impressive.

Im äußersten Süden Frankreichs betreibt der Verein Train du Pays Cathare et du Fenouillèdes (TPCf) Touristikverkehre als „Train Rouge“ auf der reizvollen Bahnlinie von Rivesaltes am Mittelmeer nach Axat im Pyrenäenvorland. Zum Einsatz kommen verschiedene Garnituren, wobei meist ein Triebwagen vom Typ X 4500 „Caravelle“ zwischen Rivesaltes und Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet pendelt, während ein lokbespannter Zug auf dem hinteren Abschnitt zwischen Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet und Axat zum Einsatz kommt.
Im Bahnhof von Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet bahnt sich BB 63240 beim Umsetzmanöver den Weg durch das Gestrüpp. Während die Gleisanlagen und das Bahnhofsgebäude ein wenig verwahrlost wirken, macht der Bahnsteig im Hintergrund einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck.

Naast de reguliere treinen van de Harzer Schmalspurbahnen (HSB) rijden er van tijd tot tijd ook speciale treinen de Brocken op. Deze Mallet-locomotief 99 5902-4 (gebouwd door Jung in 1898) met 'Traditionszug' was dan ook een leuke afwisseling en werd kort voor het eindstation op de winterse Brocken vastgelegd.

Arrivées sur Nice en fin de matinée, L'unité multiple composée des rames Dasye 781 et 780 affectées au parc OUIGO, assurent le train retour pour Paris-Gare-de-Lyon. L'UM s'apprête à franchir Agay.
Fin de journée du 10 Juillet dernier, la BB 22252 RC assure un TER Avignon - Marseille via la branche de Cavaillon. Elle est vue quelques kilomètres avant la gare de la capitale du melon s’apprêtant à y effectuer son arrêt.

Lo scorso 24 maggio la bellissima GDe 4/4 6002 MOB "Rossinière", poi "Isabelle von Siebenthal" (SLM, BBC, 1983) è stata incaricata di trasferire la vettura Bp 235 di GFM Historique (costruita nel 1903 per CEG) da Montbovon a Chamby. La vettura è stata temporaneamente ospitata presso la Ferrovia Museo Blonay - Chamby.
La BB 7417 assurait un train en provenance du Teil pour Sibelin avec une mini composition, un wagon nucléaire. De passage à proximité de Saint Rambert d’Albon. Le 17 Juillet 2017.
Others go for smaller things - our club bought finally this small steam locomotive. It came the highway on a heavy loader.
Built in 1890 for one of the predecessors of SBB, it looks like a "Tigerli" but is it not as being built before the SBB built "Tigerli".
It is now again under the protective roof of our bridge, and might move into the shed, when we find some room.
It looks pretty cumbersome, but seems to be still in a fair state.
Next stop were 2 bridges near Sidi Harazem. In the meanwhile, a friendly station master had informed us about expected freight traffic. The waiting was long, though, and the stench of a deceased cow in the mid-day heat was hard to bear. A passenger train to Meknes could only distract us shortly.

Wednesday august 10th I went chasing trains along the Antwerp - Aachen freight corridor. Those days off, with nothing to worry about but the photos, are rare, so I wanted to stand along the tracks at sunrise. Which meant waking up really early, but which also meant fluid traffic.
Still dozy from the long ride I had to prepare for action quickly as a first train was already approaching. The swift walk did what it had to do: fully concentrated I could should a car train from DB Cargo on its way to the port of Zeebrugge.

An unkown AMG 800 of the Corsican Railway crosses a creek next to the Corsican university town Corte.
Op 8 februari 2021 - de dag na die van de KNMI-code rood - werd mondjesmaat de treindienst weer opgestart. Op deze locatie tussen Schiedam en Delft was een halve minuut eerder nog helder zicht op de horizon. De elektrische treinstellen trokken rijdend echter een wolk van stuifsneeuw met zich mee, als ware het stoomtreinen. Twee elkaar passerende sprinters - met links SGMm 2950 - maken dan het beeld van een barre winterdag op het spoor compleet.
The day after all Dutch train services were cancelled due to the weather conditions, a few local trains were put in service again on the 8th of february 2021. EMU 2950 of class SGMm is almost hidden by drifting snow of a passing train between Schiedam and Delft.
