The party was still not over, as I heard another train coming from the valley. It was a car train loaded with Volkswagen cars, coming from Devínska Nová Ves in Slovakia and probably heading towards the Porto Marghera in Venice. Traction is unrecognizable but some research shows that unit 1293 201 was running for CD Cargo at the time the photo was taken. Second unit is 6193 030.

In de vroege ochtend van 28 mei 1972 - de klok wijst net 6 uur aan - wordt in Haaksbergen door NS-personeel nog kisten in ‘Geelbander’ type Gls geladen. Deze standaard gesloten goederenwagens waren speciaal bestemd voor het stukgoedvervoer van Van Gend & Loos. Op deze dag reed tussen Haaksbergen en Enschede de laatste buurtgoederentrein van de Nederlandse Spoorwegen.
De scene werd vastgelegd op 23-04-2022 tijdens een fotorit georganiseerd door Fotostop bij de Museum Buurtspoorweg (MBS) met als thema 'De laatste dagen van de NS-bediening'. There were 2 freight trains on our radar heading towards Weiden: 1 from Bindlach, and 1 from Kolin heading in the direction of Nürnberg.
Which one would be first? We made a deliberate guess, and judging on the map and cloud radar found a possible scenario to catch the two trains in nice sunlight.
Part 1 of the scenario: the Bindlach - Weiden train around the station of Parkstein Hütten. A photo at the entrance of the station wasn't possible because the switch was turned to a track in the shadows. So we headed towards the other end of the station to picture the train when leaving. Really cool to see these mechanical signals in action!

Next up was a container train from Bologna to the port of Zeebrugge. It would run over Liège, and nothing else was approaching, so I dared to drive to Cheratte on line 40. Turned out to be a good decision as I got a shot on a location I never stood.

Petit souvenir d'il y a 7 ans, au début du mois de Février de l'année 2019, le soleil était présent avec de légers voiles et bien évidemment, la gare de Marolles en Hurepoix est toujours aussi pratique pour les ciculations en direction de la province.
Passage furtif de la BB 22366 Infra, amenant la BB 75057 FRET et des wagons de matériaux pour Saint pierre des Corp depuis le traige de Trappes.
Aujourd'hui, ce sont les BB 27300 ex Transilien qui s"en occupent majoritairement.

Good morning!
A little memory from seven years ago, at the beginning of February 2019, the sun was shining with a few light clouds, and of course, Marolles en Hurepoix station is still as convenient as ever for travel to the provinces.
A fleeting glimpse of BB 22366 Infra, bringing BB 75057 FRET and wagons of materials for Saint Pierre des Corps from the Trappes yard.
Today, it is mainly the BB 27300 ex Transilien that takes care of this.

Nee, het is niet over Biotex. Het personeel van de Duitse 'Öchsle Schmalspurbahn' praat nog even na in Ochsenhausen op Mallet-stoomlocomotief 99 633 uit 1899. In het eerste kommentaar hieronder een foto van de ochtendtrein waarvoor de stoomlocomotief & personeel werd ingezet, 18-09-2021.

Last stop of the trip was the gorge just south of Sidi Kacem. Besides seeing some trains, we also had an encounter with a guy driving up to us from the road below up the mountain, in a 4x4 vehicle. He seemed to know Belgium pretty well, but the exact reason why he wanted to talk to us? No idea, after a while he friendly aid goodbye and went back to the road to continue his journey. Shortly after, we also left for the final leg of the journey: to the airport and back home.

A Škoda motor car waits beside the line for the passage of a locomotive from the same manufacturer.
The car is a first-generation Škoda Octavia, dating from 1959 or 1960, while the locomotive – No. 555.129 – is a DRG Class 50 built by Škoda at Pilsen in 1942.
Two creations of the famous Pilsen works, briefly reunited in the Bohemian countryside.

6h19 du matin, première photo de la journée : à 6 km de Ceska Lipa d’où elle vient de démarrer, la 555.129 et son train de trémies approche de la halte de Vlčí Důl-Dobranov près du hameau de Vítkov, dans la belle ambiance d’un petit matin frais. Le train se dirige vers Liberec.

6:19 a.m. : first shot of the day. Just six kilometres from Česká Lípa after getting under way, Škoda 555.129 and its hopper train drift towards Vlčí Důl-Dobranov near Vítkov in the crisp atmosphere of an early Czech morning, bound for Liberec.

Hexafret 60023 with a train of maintained freight wagons towards Somain. The wagons are maintained at the Inveho UAB facilities in Achiet, which is served quite regularly.

Bonjour! Un petit hommage aux Z 5600 de TER Bourgognes s'impose.
Petit retour en juillet 2022 où elles effectuaient certains omnibus de la journée en collaboration avec les 7200 + RCR sur du Paris > Laroche-Migennes.
Ici est vu le train n°891005 Paris Gare de Lyon > L.M. à vitesse modérée, sous un magnifique soleil estivale, l'UM composé des rames 5621/22 (11C) et 5617/18 (09C) dans le peu connu coin de spot de Veneux Les Sablons, un cadre plutôt sympa, non loin de son prochain arrêt "Moret-Veneux Les Sablons".
Certes, elles n'étaient pas aussi belles que des rames tractées mais, au moins, ce n'était pas des rames à prendre à la légère, ce qui rendait cette chasse des plus plaisantes avec de la variété sur la PLM.
A noter que ça fait plus d'un mois qu'elles ont été retirées du service au moment de la publication.

Hello! A small tribute to TER Bourgogne's Z 5600 trains is in order.
Let's take a quick trip back to July 2022, when they were running some of the day's local services in conjunction with the 7200 + RCR trains on the Paris > Laroche-Migennes line.
Here we see train no. 891005 Paris Gare de Lyon > L.M. travelling at moderate speed under a beautiful summer sun, The multiple unit consists of trains 5621/22 (11C) and 5617/18 (09C) in the little-known spot of Veneux Les Sablons, a rather nice setting not far from its next stop, ‘Moret-Veneux Les Sablons’.
Admittedly, they weren't as beautiful as the trains pulled by locomotives, but at least they weren't trains to be taken lightly, which made this hunt all the more enjoyable with variety on the PLM.
It should be noted that they had been out of service for over a month at the time of publication.
A Southern Ontario Railway SD40 leads St. Lawrence and Atlantic train 393 through Douville, around mile 43 on the west side of Saint-Hyacinthe, QC. Consist: RLHH 3403, QGRY 6904, SLR 3047, SLR 805, SLR 3805.
Medway's Neuss to Antwerp container shuttle for mother company MSC was right on time to enjoy some early spring sunshine. A few more kilometers to go before it has reached its final destination, it passes through this rare rural lap of ground just north of Antwerp.
