explanation video ^
so i mentioned this about a week or so ago and had some (rare) alone time today... i'm kinda pleased with it, kinda neutral. i dunno. it's originally a guitar song, so i had to make up the musical breaks/bridge and, well, pretty much the music completely except for the chord progressions. i hope it translated well.

This video clip is just to show how in the western rural parts of the US and more so in Canada you have huge distances between towns. So this is to show for those of you live in parts of the world with high population density how it feels to on a road and not see so much as a gas station for dozens of miles,

A young Australian cattle dog and our 2 Labradors playing a the beach. A stick makes a great toy. After much chasing and tug-of-war, the cattle dog finally claims the stick as his prize. Our older dog was more of a spectator to the fun than an active participant.
Unfortunately I didn't have the camera straight at the beginning.

This was taken a few days before they fledged, you can hear dad calling to them soon before showing up with their yum yums! I had to delete the previous video, it cut off just before the dad showed up to feed them. My apologies to anyone who may have commented

J'ai pu prendre une série de 5 photographies que j'ai assemblées en une vidéo montrant le saut de cette cloture.
A mon avis, cette cloture mesure environ 1m40 et l'on peut voir que le cerf dépasse cette hauteur d'environ 40 à 50 cm , ce qui fait un saut d'environ 1m90 sans aucune prise d'élan.
Dans la première image qui est un montage vidéo on peut voir la décomposition du saut.

End of the adventure.
I was able to take a series of 5 photographs which I assembled in a video showing the jump of this fence.
In my opinion, this fence measures about 1m40 and we can see that the deer exceeds this height of about 40 to 50 cm, which makes a jump of about 1m90 without any backswing.
In the first image which is a video montage we can see the decomposition of the jump.

this Red-Bellied (male) Woodpecker is getting nourishment before Hurricane Milton's landfall here in West Central Florida. I'm sure I'll lose power soon... Views from the Porch here (south) of Brooksville Florida. This may be my last post for some time... Halloween 🎃 update… the power was out five days… the internet tower I was using blew down and the company I used have no plans to repair or replace it…

A summit-camp with Helen Iles on Foel Goch in Snowdonia overlooking the Ogwen Valley - fantastic views and conditions, with the Milky Way, Mars & Saturn travelling over the Glyders and Y Garn peaks, while the green airglow danced over Snowdon, before quickly losing out to the rising moonlight. Sunrise wasn't far behind it...
