Waterfilm is a series filmed since 2012 based on the idea of filming with a freehand camera for a period of exactly one minute. This series illustrates the meditative qualities of water in an urban environment. It is my belief that the close observation of this essential element has the ability to influence our perceptions. Over the last several days, there has been what they call a "parade" of storm systems rolling through - and today was the biggest one. I actually had to turn down the volume on the first clip because the rain hit the window SOOO loud!! Beach walks are on hold for the moment. As you can see, there is very dangerous high surf as well - and this was filmed close to low tide. An exciting day! And I really had fun capturing it with the Nikon D750 this time.

I have been wondering if I could slow it down from the post I did earlier and it was quite easy in Photoshop.
I don't think there can be many better things to make you feel warm inside than watching a Barn Owl hunting accross the fen in the morning sunshine.
He / she was actually moving pretty fast here, not actively looking for prey below.

The last Milky Way from the lake house this year; soon the core will be gone. After 15 days or either rain or cloud it finally cleared up enough for a try.
