It was a busy morning at Kingston pier on Norfolk Island while men unloaded goods from the freighter standing off shore. Amid the activity they also launched a fishing boat, something I'd never seen done this way before.

It is strongly migratory in the northern parts of its breeding range, and winters farther south. For example, in North America it winters south to Mexico, but also regularly strays into Central America and the Caribbean between September and May

A ballad in which I had my thoughts about my deceased mother written as lyrics. It's a bit sad but I think it turned out beautifully anyway. As always, there may be translation errors, please accept my apologies.
I chose the beautiful place “Oasis” as the filming location again, you will see why.

I've learnt to stay still, so they forget I'm there, and watch where they land and keep coming back to the same spot.
So I settle down into a comfy position and just keep the camera focussed right there..
This clip is is two little videos I joined together, the first bit is finding where this fella faves as his spot, the second is him returning..
Turn up the sound and better viewed large..

The second part of the time-lapse production "Lights over Switzerland". The images of this lapse are all from Switzerland, mostly taken at night under the stars. The scenes were taken in the region of Valais, Graubünden and Bern on the most beautiful natural places which Switzerland offers.

It's funny because after seeing a picture of a Monarch recently,I was hoping I'd see one this year.It's been about five years since I've encountered some.Lucky for me,I saw this one fluttering about.Where?At a city garden in my own neck of the woods in Brooklyn!There were four of them in the garden.

Man, these guys are hard to resist! They were just bobbing up and down while Mom and Dad perched above the burrow, making this ever-so-cute little call which sounded like the courtship call.
