Un des rhinos prenait son bain de boue (argile grise !) dans la bauge. La boue est indispensable aux rhinos pour protéger leur peau du soleil et des parasites.

The black kite (Milvus migrans) is a medium-sized bird of prey in the family Accipitridae, which also includes many other diurnal raptors. It is thought to be the world's most abundant species of Accipitridae, although some populations have experienced dramatic declines or fluctuations. Current global population estimates run up to 6 million individuals. Unlike others of the group, black kites are opportunistic hunters and are more likely to scavenge. They spend a lot of time soaring and gliding in thermals in search of food. Their angled wing and distinctive forked tail make them easy to identify. They are also vociferous with a shrill whinnying call. This kite is widely distributed through the temperate and tropical parts of Eurasia and parts of Australasia and Oceania, with the temperate region populations tending to be migratory. Several subspecies are recognized and formerly had their own English names. The European populations are small, but the South Asian population is very large. R_39330
Cacti bloom once a year for only one or two days and I was lucky to be there and document his 3.5 hour event. Following morning flower did not open any more
My first video. And I had never realised what a large number of the groups I put pics into do not accept videos.
This is the next track under the band name Eventide Rise that I am in. It's about venues and music and arts that have been shut for so long. Hopefully things might open more, but for how long with everything that is going on. *Stock image used for the cover, which is meant to be the audience. I didn't have any photos that would work with this track. I will make a video for it soon.

inspired by a new flickr contact I finally started uploading some of my own small compositions; here (today) I'm in the middle of a (negative ;-) ) cold!
The piece was for a (once) ? loved person whose B'day was on that particular day.
Thank you
