Seven little ducklings were lovingly raised by the dedicated staff of St. Francis Wildlife in Tallahassee, FL during the summer of 2016. I picked them up at St. Francis on the day of this video, and at first they were just going to send six of them home with me and keep the 7th one - a female - since something had just happened to her flight feathers and they were afraid that she would be an easy target for a predator. We decided that she'd be better off with her peeps than alone in her flight cage at St. Francis, so we caught her and packed her up for her final time in a crate. When I got them home I took the big tub to the water's edge, and very gently rolled it on it's side so that when I opened the hinged lid that they would hopefully file out together, and not explode out, flying in every direction, which I unfortunately learned in a previous release. Everything went as planned and they slowly swam out in wide-eyed wonderment in their new home. The first 25s or so was videoed right after they were released, and the last clip was shot later that afternoon as they met the eight three-month old Black-bellied Whistling Duck juveniles who are the terror of the swamp. Ironically, the little raggedy hen who almost didn't get to taste freedom was the one who chased off the Whistling duck, and flapped at the end. They've been here a month now and all seven are doing fine. "Raggedy's" feathers are growing back, and her short flights are getting longer each day. She and a somewhat raggedy drake have really bonded (you can see them together beginning around :27), and I'm so glad they are all together.

A cockatoo is any of the 21 parrot species belonging to the family Cacatuidae, the only family in the superfamily Cacatuoidea. Along with the Psittacoidea (true parrots) and the Strigopoidea (large New Zealand parrots), they make up the order Psittaciformes. The family has a mainly Australasian distribution, ranging from the Philippines and the eastern Indonesian islands of Wallacea to New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Australia. Cockatoos are recognisable by the prominent crests and curved bills. Their plumage is generally less colourful than that of other parrots, being mainly white, grey or black and often with coloured features in the crest, cheeks or tail. Some cockatoo species have been adversely affected by habitat loss, particularly from a shortage of suitable nesting hollows after large mature trees are cleared; conversely, some species have adapted well to human changes and are considered agricultural pests. I was going back to my home after take the pictures of the sea when I saw this gypsy party and stop to take some pictures and videos. Later the gypsy "chief" blessed me, was an interesting experience. :¬)

Festa Cigana

She was euthaniased on my belly in the calm of our home on august 4 2016. If you have to do it, i strongly suggest to do it at home. It is such a relief to not do it in the stress of puting her in her cage, at her age, 15 year,s old, and also in a place where she was totaly insecure in the veterian. She never like it there. Most of the veterian give this service and it is not much more expensive than in the clinique.
Dhyana did not know she was going to die. She was peaceful and happy and fell a sleep on me. I did love her so much, and she gave me such in return it was the least I could do for her.

A shallow but wide waterfall caused by a change in course of the Bow River, which is situated near the town of Banff. Further along, the Bow River mingles with the Spray River.

She was busy making a nest in which she would eventually raise two chicks.
Fairly small woodpecker, overall olive-green with bright red crown and mustache. Barred belly. Female similar to male but shows red only on nape. Both sexes have pale eye. Don’t look for rufous in the wing, it’s very subtle! Found in forests and edges, singly or in pairs.

Last year I did not see any varied thrush. This morning was the 4th time one landed on my deck. . I knew I wouldn't have time to set up my good camera with the big lens, which is sitting on a tripod in the kitchen with the short lens as I was doing some closeup photography, so I got my point and shoot and took a video. Next time, some still shots!
We haven’t seen this mama and her babies for a while, so I was very happy to look out to find them at the feeder. They’ve gotten so big!

After a lot of debating, I finally released my first BENTO animated stands for AO.
"DokiDoki" is a set of 5 cute and feminine stands, with natural breathing effect and light hand/arm animations.
several priority options included.
Now out in cosmopolitan event.
Giving them a trial run lol - always room to improve, but I like them ^^

Lots of rain + wind... and water spray from Gullfoss (Puh..)
Gullfoss is the waterfall of the river Hvítá in the south of Iceland.
It consists of two steps, 11m and 21m high.
From the second step, the water plunges into a gorge.
2.5 km long from the waterfall to the widening to the valley, depth 70 m.

Once again we had the inauguration of our beautiful Christmas Tree in Rio de Janeiro. I took some photos but also made this small video so you can have a better idea of what this is!!
This year there are some bells playing, but I couldn't avoid the noise of some people talking around... :((
