Zurich, Montana; although Zurich still has a post office and a school, the Hi-Line town, with a population of less than 30 people, is close to being a ghost town.
Photos taken on January 4, 2008 of the site of former Fedco Department Store. The site included a full service department store, incuding variety, fine jewlry, clothes, liquor, Tevelvisions, cameras, electronics, furniture, groceries with a full service meat counter, bakery, full service deli, snack bar, as well as a small electronic fix it shop that worked on shavers, etc.
The store was always packed on the inside as well as in the parking lot. It was a membership store that mainly took government employees or anyone affilated with the government.
In late 1998, early 1999 Fedco liquidated its assests and sold their properties to Target. Target took over many of their former sites, demolishing the old Fedco Stores and replacing them with similar structures. This was one of the first stores demolished and rebuilt by Target. Open around 2000.
Located at the corner of Rodeo Road and La Ciengega.
From January 2008 to July 2008 the store has undergone a renovation, including a new entrance.
Also located on this Former Fedco Department Store Site was an Auto Center/Tire Center as well as a Fedco Gas Station.
Currently on the site is a Target Department Store, McDonald's Restaurant as well as the Arco Gas Station, which remained after the Fedco building was demolished. The Target building is similar in shape to the former Fedco. The Auto Center was demolished by Target as well as there was also a parking structure next to the Fedco bulding that was demolished for the new Target. This is a bike store done by the architectural practice i work for, Sarah Wigglesworth Architects, in Bermondsey, London. It is sited on the edge of bermondsey Square where the famous Antiques Market is held every Friday morning. The skin of the building is derived from an unwrapped jewel.

Most Cafe-corner style buildings have a rather dull rear facade. Mine is no exception, and if it's flanked by two other buildings there really isn't much of a facade anyway. The dumpster is obviously a copy of the one I built for my Curry house.

PERSONAL FUN FACT: Around the time that I first began collecting dolls again (circa 2011), I remember having a particular distaste for the old school Disney Store dolls. Growing up, my very first Disney Store doll was an Aurora, who I got in the late summer of 2002. I recall that I was very unimpressed with poor Sleeping Beauty--I thought that her facial screening was cheap looking and that her outfit looked nothing like the dress she wore in the movie. But for whatever reason, I decided to get that Aurora doll anyways, and sadly, she was never truly loved (I must have gotten rid of her at some point). It was all because of that one "bad" experience with a Disney Store Aurora, that I was set on not purchasing any dolls from the Disney Store ever again. But in the years since I had gotten my childhood Sleeping Beauty doll, the Disney Store changed doll manufacturers, and the dolls themselves underwent many changes. So my former "boycott" was then revised--I would not purchase any of the old Disney Store dolls. I specifically mentioned how "ugly and grotesque" the old version of Esmeralda was to my sister. I never thought that I could find it in my heart to love a Disney Store Esmeralda. Here we are, all these years later, and staring back at you from behind the screen is a picture of my very much loved Disney Store Esmeralda. Something I learned during my first few years back into dolls as an adult, was never say never. I tend to find that I can warm up to just about any doll type. As my collection has grown and expanded to included dozens of types of dolls from assorted makes and eras, I find that I am far from picky these days. The day I found this adorable Esmeralda doll sitting on a table at my local flea market, in 2016, I simply couldn't resist her. My sister and I walked by, and looked at another table with dolls nearby. But immediately afterwards, I dragged Colleen back to the table, where we promptly purchased Esmeralda. I just had to have her for my collection--after all, there were only a few Hunchback of Notre Dame dolls ever made. This Esmeralda doll has transformed my opinion of the older Disney Store dolls. I have fallen madly in love with her--even her "clone like" face has won its way into my heart. I'm so very glad that my heart has become more open to a variety of dolls, because dolls like Esmeralda are so much fun to collect, and add a bit of diversity to my displays!

I repainted his eyebrows because I hated how angry he looked before. Now he looks handsome and probably more like "Ken" lol but it is better in my opinion. Tried to create a better fringe but since his hair is so short, it kind of gets hard to style. Anyway, I hope you really like it. :P

Updated photo of the former Big Lots store in West Los Angeles California. The day this photo was taken the former Big Lots had already closed and out of business at this location only. During the close out sale, the staff told me that the lease had expired and the owner of the property wanted too much money to renew. This former Big Lots was originally a former W.T.Grants Variety store that closed in the 1970s. After W.T.Grants closed down, it sat vacant for awhile until eventually the site was taken over by Pic N Save. The owners of Pic N Save later changed their name to Big Lots. (Pic N Save originally opened up around the corner at Sepulveda and National and moved to this site after a couple of years at the old location.)
Next door to the right is a former Thrity Drug Store, which was converted into Rite Aid when Rite Aid took over Thrifty Payless Company. The Thrifty Drug store also used to have a lunch counter in the back of the store.
To the left of the Big Lots store is a Ralphs Supermarket, which was a former Hughes Supermarket (AKA Hughes Family Markets).
The entire shopping center is made up of 3 stores and is known as Westdate Center located in West Los Angeles at Sawtelle and National in Southern California.

This was the first separately sold set to be released. I was the one and only person to enter the raffle for the doll today. At 1:10 pm, they brought out two doll sets from the back room for me to choose from. I picked the first one, because of her neater hair. They happened to be consecutively numbered. Mine was #2531 of 6000, and the other was #2532.
Cruella is decked out in a off white fur coat, red gloves, a black animal claw purse, black beaded necklace, black leatherette gown with black gems in the bodice, and red shoes. She appears to have the same body as D23 Designer Mulan. That is the same construction as a 2012 Disney Princess Classic 12 inch doll, with hinged knees and ball jointed ankles. She stands about 11 1/4 inches tall on the display stand.
There are detailed and accurate figures of seven of the Dalmatians from the movie. They include the parents Pongo and Perdita, and five of their puppies. They all have unique poses and expressions. The parents have cloth collars and hanging dog tags. The puppies have molded collars and tags.
