The Sony PlayStation Store, apperantly, is getting a revamp! About time.

A men using his motorbike as a bakery store and ride it through every corners of Saigon to reach his customers. This kind of business is very popular in Saigon. His motorbike's number plate (36) shows that he from Thanh Hoa province, a quite poor and undeveloped province in Central Vietnam.

I repainted his eyebrows because I hated how angry he looked before. Now he looks handsome and probably more like "Ken" lol but it is better in my opinion. Tried to create a better fringe but since his hair is so short, it kind of gets hard to style. Anyway, I hope you really like it. :P

Updated photo of the former Big Lots store in West Los Angeles California. The day this photo was taken the former Big Lots had already closed and out of business at this location only. During the close out sale, the staff told me that the lease had expired and the owner of the property wanted too much money to renew. This former Big Lots was originally a former W.T.Grants Variety store that closed in the 1970s. After W.T.Grants closed down, it sat vacant for awhile until eventually the site was taken over by Pic N Save. The owners of Pic N Save later changed their name to Big Lots. (Pic N Save originally opened up around the corner at Sepulveda and National and moved to this site after a couple of years at the old location.)
Next door to the right is a former Thrity Drug Store, which was converted into Rite Aid when Rite Aid took over Thrifty Payless Company. The Thrifty Drug store also used to have a lunch counter in the back of the store.
To the left of the Big Lots store is a Ralphs Supermarket, which was a former Hughes Supermarket (AKA Hughes Family Markets).
The entire shopping center is made up of 3 stores and is known as Westdate Center located in West Los Angeles at Sawtelle and National in Southern California.
Photo of the front of the closed Big Lots Store, and the Big Lots sign had not been removed yet. Also in this photo you can see the Ralphs Supermarket and its giant parking lot sign, which used to indicate that the store was open 24 hours a day. (The sign has been modified over the years as it was originally used by Hughes Family Markets.)

The area known as Midway Mills, near the James River, was the first settled area (1774) of what is now Nelson County, Virginia (having been Goochland, Albemarle and then Amherst County). Sometime in the early 20th or perhaps late 19th century, quarrying began in the area, producing sandstone for building purposes (flagstone). I located part of what exists—down some dirt back roads of Nelson County. The mining community had its own post office and store. Apparently there are few signs of the mining area or community still existent. This was the old store—my informant said the trash can had been in the building for several years. Recently added, after the fact, to Explore for May 16, 2012 at #366--I'm grateful for Explore but I just don't understand why this photo.

Henry Clay Cole & Olive Beebe
Henry Clay Cole, who this General Store is named for, was known by many as the Grand Old Man of Summit Township. He was born in 1841, in the State of New York & came to Mason County in 1867. He Married Olive Beebe in 1875, & their pictures hang together in the General Store. They had six children.
Mr. Cole enlisted in Co. M., Third Michigan artillery of the Union Army at Hillsdale, Michigan in 1862 when he was 21 years of age. He became ill with pneumonia & was discharged, but re-enlisted in Detroit in 1864. Mr. Cole saw action in several major engagement of the Civil War, among them Chickamauga & the fighting at Knoxville, Tennessee. At the time of his death, he was Mason County's oldest War veteran.
After his service in the Civil War, he came to this region in search of land for a farm. In the company of Martin Hitchcock, he walked from Whitehall in 1867, & they examined the location & the soil of several tracts before deciding. Finally, Mr. Cole purchased 80 acres in North Summit Township where he built his hand-sewn log home & lived there until after the death of his wife in 1917. The Mason County Historical Society moved the structure to the Village in ????, in one piece from the area near the Pumped Storage Project.
During his lifetime, Mr. Cole served on the county board of supervisors from Summit Township for 40 years. "His was more likely than not to be the deciding voice on important questions & that his decisions were usually right & in accord with public welfare as attested by the habit his constituency formed of sending him back" (Ludington Daily News 07/03/34).
He also served two terms as sheriff of Mason County, which at that time was as long as the law permitted a man to serve in consecutive years.
