Intercity Buses Setra S215HR SX 456 was apparently stored when photographed at Deryneia on Cyprus on November 24th 2017. The curtains pulled to protect the interior from the Mediterranean sun is a clue. Owned by Intercity Buses this coach was new in the UK back in April 1984 as Wahl, London SE5 A113 UYN.
MOC: Modular LEGO Store.
Not too much detail in the back, as it's a corner building, but there's a bench where the employees can seek refuge once the crowd inside gets too demanding. And judging from how it's been from time to time in the LEGO stores I've visited, it's needed.
Note the surveillance camera ;)

Some of the many stored engines in the Stockton, CA., area for the UP. Today, this is a nationwide site as many sidings, yards, and more have older stored equipment that is not being used.

I am not sure what this space was. It looks like it had an exterior entrance at one time so maybe it was a variety store, drug store, grocery store, or a value store for the department store.
Photos of the Beaver Valley Mall Macy's from when it was closing in March 2017. This store was previously Gimbels then a Kaufmann's before becoming Macy's. Kaufmann's relocated from a store in nearby Rochester in 1986.
The Beaver Valley Mall was opened in 1970. The mall was originally anchored by Sears, Gimbels, and Joseph Horne Co. In 1986, Gimbels closed and Kaufmann's moved into the space from a previous location nearby. In 1995, Horne's was rebranded as Lazarus and closed in 1998. JCPenney was added to the mall in 1998 and a Boscov's store replaced the former Horne's / Lazarus space. In 2006, Kaufmann's was rebranded as Macy's. In 2007, Dick's sporting goods was opened at the mall. Sears closed in June 2016 and Macy's closed on March 26, 2017.

End of an era for Bergheim General Store
New Year's Eve marked an end. It was the last day for normal operations at Bergheim General Store. "Now, it is time for someone else to write their own stories," the owner said.

BERGHEIM, Texas — One of the oldest general stores still operating in Texas will soon be history.
The Bergheim General Store, in the town of the same name northeast of Boerne, is closing up shop. The store's longevity was made possible by faith, family and hard work.
Since 1903, the Bergheim General Store has been open for business and operated by high school sweethearts Stanley and Charlene Jones. After all, it runs in the Engel-Jones family.

They need our help and love.
My convenience store diorama is finally complete. I had it done over a year ago, but had to disassemble it when my home had to be packed up. Put it back together again and finally had enough light again to take some pictures.

The popular yellow Store Closing banners popped up at the Bainbridge Kmart. I'm a little surprised that Bainbridge even has a Kmart, though I've seen them in far smaller cities.

It's so nice be in a record store! With all the book stores closing 'n stuff it's always nice to find one of these. :) I bought a Mogwai record. Post-rock anyone? :D
And old store in the very small and vacated fishing village Tinden in Øksnes municipaliy, Nordland county. It was common for the stores in the small places around Norway that you could buy just about anything. Tinden is a place without roads and is only accessible by boat.
Although a large number of SD70Ms have come out of storage with UP's congestion issues in the last two years, there are still a decent number in storage. Here at Booth Yard near the Port of Houston, three tracks of SD70Ms were placed in storage here in July 2022.

spoke to the manager and she said it is an original Kroger store from 1950 with only the front of the store seeing any renovations. The store number of this store is # 953 and the size is right at 8000 Square feet. The address of this store is 456 E. St Louis Street. This is the smallest Kroger store I have ever seen.

former Venture taken over by Kmart in 1999. Kmart relocated here from an older store in Harwood Heights. It became one of Kmart's highest grossing stores but was eventually shut down in 2018 due to combination of a rent increase and the then-Kmart parent company's Chapter 11 filing.
