The Blackwood Clover Store was located below street level, shown here in the background with its canopy now painted blue. The access road on the right connected it to Black Horse Pike. The parking lot is now a storage facility and the former store building now houses a tire company.
The Apple Store in SoHo, New York City renovates an old building to create a heaven of Apple Products and another characteristic glass staircase. The building makes less of a statement than the store on Fifth Avenue and meshes well with the bustling streetscape.

Stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, close to the El Capitan Theatre.
I just saw The Nightmare Before Christmas 4D, the 20th Anniversary Release of the movie, at its exclusive run at the El Capitan Theatre, in Hollywood, California. It was the matinee showing at 2:30 pm on Sunday, October 20, 2013.
I parked my car in the Hollywood and Highland Center, home of the Dolby Theatre, and walked across Hollywood Blvd to the El Capitan. I arrived at the theatre at 1:30 pm. Even though I had a reserved seat for the movie, I had to wait in line outside the theatre to before we could be let in, at about 2 pm. While we were waiting, a CM checked for tickets and gave us 3D glasses.
I happened to be standing right over the Tinker Bell star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And in the doorway of the Disney Soda Fountain and Studio Store is a star for Disneyland, added in 2005 on its 50th anniversary. The Disney Soda Fountain is closed right now. It will re-open in November 15 as the Ghirardelli® Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop, as a large poster in the window of the shop announces.
I got my popcorn and soda, and took my seat. On stage playing organ was the theatre's long time organist Rob Richards, appropriately dressed in a black robe. In addition to playing Disney tunes, he played music from the Phantom of the Opera. The theatre was decorated in a Nightmare Before Christmas theme. The special effects were lights, pyrotechnics, audience participation cues onscreen, fog and ''snow''. The audience had a large percentage of children, but they were all very well behaved, and seemed to enjoy the movie very much. It was the first time for me seeing Nightmare on the big screen, and it was great seeing Jack, Sally, Oogie Boogie and the rest of the cast larger than life. The 3D made the characters appear very life-like, as if we were actually seeing them in front us for real. Of course, the fact that they were actual puppets animated through stop motion photography helped a great deal in the realism as well.
After the movie we got to see a special exhibit of the making of the movie, featuring photos and replicas of storyboards and sets from the movie. They also had the actual sets for Town Hall and the Spiral Mountain. All of it was behind glass, so you couldn't touch and feel the sets. On the way out, I took photos of some of the movie posters, and a display on the history of the theatre. On the way back to my car, I took photos of some other stars on the Walk of Fame, mainly related to Disney movies.
This is my favorite store on busy Main Street in Hendersonville. Usually filled with tourists. All kinds of wonderful shops in a lovely setting.
We have Bakeries (you can't even call the places in WalMart and other stores, Bakeries)form time to time, but if you go inside the stores are usually empty with just someone to take your birthday cake order or maybe make you a sandwich. This is like the places I remember from the Northeast where it was a visual and sensual treat just to go into the doors. The only thing lacking is that the fragrance is not so strong because they don't do the baking on premises.

SET 1 – Tuesday Morning Closing, Southaven
While the last shot took a look at the front left corner of the store, where Tuesday Morning built out a small manager’s office (this space was previously a DressBarn prior to Tuesday Morning moving in in 2016… wow, ten years ago now), this one pivots to take a look at the central area one would see upon entering the building, where Tuesday Morning smartly placed low-height rolling tables to create a double-wide aisle and good sightlines through all the way to the rear of the space (which was also expanded outward from DressBarn’s original footprint). Sadly, those tables were by this time all but empty, and that’s just a small taste of what we’ll be seeing for the majority of this stour.
