Formado em 2010, o Planta na Mente estabeleceu em seus ensaios abertos um espaço onde músicos e doidões com diferentes níveis de experiência, artistas de diversas áreas e o respeitável público se encontram para a criação coletiva de um espetáculo lúdico em prol da legalização da maconha. Queremos que as pessoas, principalmente negros e negras, parem de ser presos e mortos por causa da atual guerra às drogas.
Marchinhas de carnaval, sempre recheadas de bom humor, não são apenas músicas, são gritos de liberdade e de transformação! Assim, o Planta se destaca pelas suas paródias voltadas para o tema canábico e militante e por tocar, com o seu versátil formato de fanfarra, uma inusitada mistura de ritmos do Brasil e do mundo: dentre outros, o ijexá, samba, rock, jazz, funk e, claro, o reggae!

se que hay muchas aunque, ninguna como esta,
mi vida tiene sentido porque formas parte de ella,
todo es perfecto, yo pienso de día y de noche te sueño,
esclavo de mis palabras dueño de mis pensamientos
y miento cuando digo que quiero escapar sin ti,
porque siento que si no estas falta un pedazo de mi!
Te quiero!, por encima de todo, palabras se quedan cortas,
sentirte es lo mas precioso, me pierdo en tu mirada
me derrito en tu boca, me despierto junto a ti
luego chocar el mar en las rocas, se que es duro ver
como se aleja el tren y la persona que mas amas viaja
y se marcha con el, pero la distancia
no es obstáculo para ninguno, desde una playa solos,

a estos folios una historia tan fantástica
donde no existe el odio faltan paginas en este

necesito llevarte siempre conmigo aunque sea en fotos,
se que parece imposible pero cada día te quiero mas
porque esta historia tiene principio, pero no final,

Screenshots from the first project to use my new real-time 3D (OpenGL/DirectX) flowers engine, code named Darwin.
Commissioned by the University of Dundee Museum Services for the D'Arcy Thompson Zoology Museum with grant funding from the Art Fund, the flowers use shapes and textures taken from and inspired by exhibits in the museum.
The work was premiered on 23 November as part of Dundee's Christmas Light Night, and will feature in the exhibition Mathematical Beauty: The Science & Art of Form at the Gateway Galleries, University of St Andrews, 17 Jan - 2 March 2013.

I was a little terrified, being a wimp.
I got this glass of Blue Moon at some damned brewing company restaurant in Westwood Village, and they brought it with this lemon jammed on the side. I wouldn't have been so upset if I hadn't been specifically ordering that beer because of how good it tastes with an orange in it... I should know better.
These are my first go at a chinese serving set for a friend. She likes Kate Spade so I tried to make them cutsie by adding red polka dots on the green rims. The whole set didn't turn out the best. The glaze bubbled on the egg drop soup bowl that I couldn't give her. The glaze needs to be more even too.

Exposição de Bonsais
Ocorreu com todo êxito mais uma Exposição de Bonsais realizada na Praça de Ciências em Vitória.
Estiveram expondo mais de 15 Bonsaístas de várias Regiões do Estado e o Público adepto desta Arte ou "Não" esteve presente; sendo este, o fator mais importante do Evento.
Foram mais de 50 bonsais expostos que demonstravam as Formas, Fases de Desenvolvimento e Espécies de Bonsais.
Durante o Evento (das 14 às 18 horas) foram feitas várias demonstrações de técnicas de como se preparar, cuidar e manter um Bonsai.
O próximo evento deverá ocorrer em Abril/2014 na Cidade de Linhares e oportunamente o Bonsai Clube Capixaba - BCC estará, através das Redes Sociais, divulgando o Local, Data e Hora da próxima Exposição.

Symbolism of Karlskirche Doris Binder
The Karlskirche consists of a central rotunda with a dome, a put in front column construction in the form of a Greek temple, two high provided with pictures columns modeled on Trajan's Column in Rome and of two lateral gate pavilions. The provided with pictures columns represent Charles VI as wise and strong secular ruler, the two great pillars were created by Marder and Matielli. The columns are topped by golden eagles, symbolizing the two virtues of the Emperor - Fortitudo (valor) and Constantia (resistance). The two columns remind the two pillars before the temple in Jerusalem - Jakin and Boaz. However, the imaging of the two columns does not match the model of columns of Trajan in Rome, these ones telling acts of war, but relate the life story of St Borromeo. In the front of the Charles' church facing the open square the different symbols of history are interrelated: the Roman emperors Trajan and Augustus, the Temple of Solomon, St. Peter's in Rome, the Hagia Sophia, Charlemagne and the Empire of Charles V, by the skillfully used symbolism, the claim of the Habsburg to European dominance should be represented.
The plan of the church is, as in the Baroque typical, in the form of an ellipse. Once inside the Charles' church you immediately notice the great Baroque sculpture representing St Borromeo. At the base the four Latin Church Fathers are depicted. The interior of the Karlskirche is dominated by the powerful fresco in the oval dome space, created it was by the famous Baroque painter Johann Michael Rottmayr between 1725-1730. The fresco shows the Mother of God who represents the intercession of the Church Saint to avert the plague, surrounded the scene is of the cardinal virtues (faith, hope and love). In the left wing entrance there is the tomb for the Austrian poet Heinrich Joseph von Collin (17771-1811).
Inside the St. Charles Church there is a museum where the most valuable pieces are exhibited.
These include: the robes of St. Borromeo, a reliquary of gold and silver - a donation of Emperor Charles VI and a Rococo monstrance (1760) which contains a drop of blood of the saint. Thomas Aquinas.
The image of the architect, Fischer von Erlach, painted by Jakob of Schuppen, too is one of the church treasures.
The iconographic program of Karlskirche was written by Carl Gustav Haerus, by this the Saint Charles Borromeo should be connected to the imperial Founder.

Die Karlskirche besteht aus einem zentralen Rundbau mit Kuppel, einem vorgestellten Säulenbau in griechischer Tempelform, zwei hohen bebilderten Säulen nach dem Vorbild der Trajanssäule in Rom und aus zwei seitlichen Tor Pavillions. Die bebilderten Säulen stellen Karl VI. als weisen und starken weltlichen Herrscher dar, die beiden großen Säulen wurden von Marder und Matielli geschaffen. Die Säulen sind durch goldene Adler gekrönt, welche die zwei Tugenden des Kaisers symbolisieren – fortitudo (Tapferkeit) und constantia (Beständigkeit). Die beiden Säulen erinnern an die beiden Säulen vor dem Tempel in Jerusalem – Jakin und Boas. Die Bebilderung der beiden Säulen entspricht jedoch nicht dem Vorbild der Trajanssäulen in Rom, welche Kriegstaten schilderten, sondern diese erzählen die Lebensgeschichte des Hl. Borromäus. In der Schaufront der Karlskirche verbinden sich die unterschiedlichsten Symbole der Geschichte zu einer Einheit – die römischen Kaiser Trajan und Augustus, den salomonischen Tempel, die Peterskirche in Rom, die Hagia Sophia, Karl den Großen und das Reich Karls V. – durch die gekonnt eingesetzte Symbolik sollte der Anspruch des Hauses Habsburg auf die europäische Vorherrschaft dargestellt werden.
Der Grundriss der Kirche ist, wie im Barock typisch, Elipsenförmig. Im Innenraum der Karlskirche fällt sofort die große Barockskulptur auf, welche den Hl. Borromäus darstellt. Am Sockel sind die vier lateinischen Kirchenväter abgebildet. Das Innere der Karlskirche wird durch das mächtige Fresko im ovalen Kuppelraum geprägt, geschaffen wurde es von dem bedeutenden Barockmaler Johann Michael Rottmayr zwischen 1725-1730. Das Fresko zeigt die Muttergottes, welche die Fürbitte des Kirchenheiligen um Abwendung der Pest darstellt, umgeben ist die Szene von den Kardinaltugenden (Glaube, Liebe und Hoffnung). Im linken Eingangsflügel befindet sich das Grabmal für den österreichischen Dichter Heinrich Joseph von Collin (17771-1811).
Im Inneren der Karlskirche gibt es ein Museum, in dem die wertvollsten Stücke ausgestellt werden.
Zu diesen zählen: die Gewänder des Hl. Borromäus, ein Reliquiar aus Gold und Silber – eine Stiftung Kaiser Karls VI. und eine Rokoko-Monstranz (ca. 1760), welche einen Blutstropfen des Heiligen enthält. Thomas von Aquin.
Auch das Abbild des Baumeisters, Fischer von Erlach, gemalt von Jakob von Schuppen zählt zu den Kirchenschätzen.
