I have named this necklace "Midnight Sea." Peering into the midnight sea one might see the illusive mediterranean angel fish darting in and out of a fusion of emerald and deep blue aurora borealis rhinestone reefs. Watch closely, for the glint of gold in his fins bubbles up through the deep and gives his secret away.

This statement piece reminds me of the Mediterranean sea at nightfall. The focal piece, an enamel and gold-tone angel fish, in shades of yellow-gold, emerald green and midnight blue, is repurposed from an old pin, and swims among a myrid of vintage enamel, brass, rhinestone and plastic adornments. The antique watch part is wonderfully engraved and topped with a dark blue vintage rhinestone. The backdrop is a brass neo-victorian stamping. The enamel repurposed earring hanging from the stamping reminds me of a clam shell complete with a gold pearl. The vintage chain has some great vintage beads, including the large lucite clear beads with gold flecks. These remind me of "bubbles."
This Credit Card Statement guide explains clearly each field with a reference and a caption, so that consumer can understand and use as reference. This was the best approach to ease fears when talking to a relatively new audience to C. C. in a fair way. This is my artist Statement for my fall quarter final assignment. Essentially my project focused on how others see the world from their own eyes and I tried to mimic this by first taking a picture of the person and then standing in their place and taking a picture of what they were looking out at. These pictures were accompanied by numbers which represented what number in the population they were when they were born by asking for their date of birth and transferring this data to the website listed below (unfortunately, these numbers that I had used previously have been lost when I transferred images from my old laptop).

For example, my date of birth is the 8th of April in the year 1993.
When I was born, I was the 5,534,992,049th person alive on earth.
My pictures go in a sequence with those born earlier first followed by those born more recently. The first number was close to 3 billion while the last picture of the twins was closer to 7 billion.
Note-Grids are a tool for collecting and connecting objects of thought (in this case, words).
They treat words and other manifestations of thought as objects that can be freely manipulated to create new meaning.

Artist's Statement:
I stole these yellow ribbon magnets from the backs of vehicles in parking lots across Phoenix, AZ, where they are plentiful. I found an unsurprising correlation between the size of the vehicle and the number of ribbons on the bumper. While I believe theft is wrong, I believe the advocation of state-sanctioned violence is much worse. After scanning these magnets, many of them very decayed, I destroy them.
Some may say that supporting the troops is not the same as supporting war. This is very wrongful thinking to me. I have met many soldiers in my lifetime and they are generally decent people, but there is not a draft in America. The War on Terror is not a war of self-defense, but of aggression, nationalism and fear. Therefore, it is a choice to go overseas and demolish men, women, children, houses, farms, entire cities even. I believe supporting the troops is a very evil idea, even if their job is not enviable, even if their murderous rampages does not always make them terrible people at home. It is so strange and dark how ripping children apart with machine guns does not entirely disable one to love their own children.
That leads me to my next point: Why these ribbons are magnetic. They are purposefully easy to remove so that if public opinion were to suddenly and overwhelmingly change, the drivers of gas-guzzling SUVs could avoid scrutiny. Otherwise, why don't the majority of magnet consumers opt for adhesive?
All I am doing is taking the initiative. For every ribbon I remove, that is one less bigoted, hateful, war-mongering driver you will see in traffic. Perhaps, if you see one of these magnets yourself, you would do the rest of the world a favor and remove it.
Note: the one's that are non-war related accidentally got mixed up in this. I kept them because they're interesting.
It’s definitely a photo that I prefer of my self, where I feel handsomely beautiful and in my neighbourhood getting my things done.
The critics voice can take so much space, especially when it can echo the shit storm outside.
Anyways here’s to committing to existing when there’s plenty of voices opposing.
Have always loved this statement. Danish mixed with american rhetoric...the funny thing is that is doesn't work!
This is a colourful statement necklace! Most of the components are handmade. I make the beads from wood pulp and paper pulp and then paint them by hand with extra love and care! I also made some beads from polymer clay. This necklace is big and beautiful and at the same time light thanks to the chosen material!
