Setup for our demo/skirmish, with my Bright Seraphim and Jon's Dragons at opposite corners of the battlefield.
I was bored and wanted to do SOMETHING with my airsoft, so I geared up and took some pics for you guys.
Update:
-second mag in pouch on right side
-got a crappy spring pistol for looks
-side rails and foregrip on gun
-added some small rails to the sides of my mask for if I get a flashlight or camera

I'm building a motor drive cable for my pocket wizard to fire a EOS Rebel (XT(i)). The idea is to set it up high with a wide angle lens over a strobist event and key the camera to a shooting station's PW channel to automatically record setup shots for each shot.
Here is the superclamp + ball head setup being tested in my shop. This is gonna open up some cool possibilities at the next garage shoot.
(Side note: Can you believe this much noise is from shooting at ISO400? I'll never buy another camera with a Sony sensor in it again).

Si, estoy aburrido... El día nos tunío con el piscinazo y el Moco se suponía que llegaba a las 10am (Son las 13:47am y no pasa nada...)
Setup shot for Travis Roy
My buddy Travis has recently become very involved with the Granite State Skeptics. He's is more frequently blogging and hosting events, so he wanted something that he could use as a visual for his posts and stuff. So, Trav stopped by today for a quick session.
We ended up lighting him with three lights; one with a grid behind him as a rim light, one light with a grid that was pointed at the front of his computer, and the third light was a small speedlight with a blue gel that we had sitting on his laptop keyboard, pointed at the laptop screen. We had a white piece of paper attached to the screen, and when the light fired, it bounced the blue light back at Travis, filling him with a blue screen glow.
I'm pretty happy with how this came out, in relative short time.

The lens is not wide enough to capture all the hilarity. There's another flash on the right side. This was shot in the footbaths near the Gauntlet office.
Jordyn is promising Ryan that he actually used warm water this time, and the white background is courtesy of the movie poster "Garden State", if I remember correctly. Miscellanea!
Setup for this photo
Taken with:
- EF24-70L USM @ 45mm. @ f/2.8 @ 1/100s.
- Canon EF 430 @ 1/2 @ 24mm with a dark green gel, behind a 70cm umbrella pointing to the end of the SPain GirlS graffiti ;)
- Metz 48 AF-1 @ 1/16 @ 105mm. with full CTO gel
Setup shot for www.flickr.com/photos/30389468@N08/3687317714/
The setup is pretty self-explaining...The fun bit was constantly spilling the honey everywhere by mistake and then having to clean up properly - with my fingers, of course...other notes are in the photo.
Strobist: SB800, manual model 1/8 power, in reflective umbrella and diffusion cloth to the left. Fired via Nikon CLS. Photo is here.
