here is the setup for Light exercise

Brand: Pentax k200d, Tamron 17-50 1:2.8

It's simple 3 light setup but in that case we don't have a key light and a fill light cuz a key light should be twice powerful as a fill light and in that case a concentrate 3/4 power light is almost equal as a 7/8 diffused.

So 3 light setup at almost the same power each light should give a flat image that's why i compensate by adding perspective whit the couch angle.

Press "L" for cool view!

edit: old setup from 2012.

This setup uses a home-made "gorillazilla" (see John Hallmen) holding the subject, plus two shoot-through flags made of translucent opalux (think rigid tracing paper). Two flashes shoot through the flags from above-left-front and below-right-rear.

Beauty dish to the right, soft box to the left, 1 AB800 fired in the background. I don't remember the power settings on the AB800s.

Setup and Shoot: Andrew and Chintan

And to conclude, the setup shot, just the camera position is a little to the left from where it was in the shots. My DIY softbox can be seen on the left.

setup for this shot.

Side note: There is a huge difference in height between Mer and I. I am 6'6" and lets just say she is a bit shorter, so for this shot I had to actually crouch down a little, and have her stand on one of our dining room chairs...I am also a big kid, so this is me not acting my age...hahahahaha

Model: Sara / FMA

Two light setups for one set to quickly change between them by toggling between channels.

Two White Lightening X1600s, on f3, aimed directly at the model bare-bulb (no modifiers).

I love the style of light this gives, something of a spotlight on the floor but strong shadows in the middle of the model.

This is a photograph from the 10th annual Kinnegad 5KM Road Race and Fun Run 2019 which was held in the town of Kinnegad, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Wednesday 10th July 2019 at 20:00. This race is organised by Coralstown Kinnegad GAA club with assistance from Coralstown Kinnegad Athletic Club. This race has firmly established itself on the local race calendar and yet again the race retains wonderful support from local clubs and runners. This evening's race is the 10th anniversary of a race which has managed to keep the same route and setup during a decade of change in road running. The race was first run in 2010 (see the photograph link below) and has used the same route for each of the ten runnings of the race. The race is a right handed course, flat and fast and takes runners on a traffic free route which includes 3KM on the local road 'Boreen Bradach', which is a very popular walking and jogging route around the outskirts of the town. The boreen is a flat and sheltered by hedgerow. The boreen benefits from a new surface which was applied over the last number of years. The earlier editions of the race seen the boreen as a typical rural road from yesteryear with a line of grass growing up the middle of the road. The boreen emerges onto the main street with the finish is on this famous main street of Kinnegad in front of Harry's Hotel. This Kinnegad streetscape will be well known to many many people who traveled between the east and west of Ireland before the arrival of the motorway system which we have today. Kinnegad is situated at the intersection of the both the M6 Galway bound motorway and the M4 Sligo/Mayo bound motorway. Indeed, the change in the running landscape over the past decade can be seen in the change around Kinnegad during this time. The town will soon open an Aldi store (in summer 2019) and has recently opened The Kinnegad Plaza, just off the M4. The famous main street of Kinnegad has seen its fair share of change during this time also.

Tonight's weather for the race was reasonably good racing weather. The recent warm weather gave way to better conditions with temperatures of around 17C on the night. There was a light shower of rain during the race which made underfoot conditions a little slippery after the recent dry spell. The boreen is well shaded with mature hedgerows on either side for the majority of the course on this stretch. There was refreshments served in the GAA club
