Pair of lightstands in background with a manfrotto crossbar holding up a roll of white seamless with a pair of 'A' clamps and three strips of gaffer's tape holding the paper in place.

2x 580EXII strobes into background (next time I'll pull the subject further away…just didn't have the patience/energy for it tonight).

430EX on light stand, bare, on camera right.

Setup for a few shots I took of some cupcakes.

Sunpack 383 on 1/4 power camera left with grid. Cupcakes are sitting on thin plexiglass with black foamcore underneath. Black reflector to side to eat the light.

Setup for portrait of Disa. Ambient is contributing pretty much nothing to the exposure.

Now that I have an umbrella I can steal Hobby's full setup. Today I also had access to a third flash, so I added a rim/chin light too. It was a bit too hot and probably should've been placed more behind subject as well.

Those among you who follow my posting of Pluto Valve control blocks will soon realise this is again another setup and might also think that I am a weirdo to keep testing new arrangements of the necessary components. Unfortunately, that has been indeed true and the reason for changing has always been the lack of rigidity of the block carrying Pluto trigger and its valves due to the quality of the roller heads I used and of some of the remaining components. Also, I have been trying to minimise the size and number of total components used, while maintaining and also improving the block functionality, ease of operation, and its global stiffness. The current block is built around, in this last version, a camera rig I once used to operate a video serving GH4, but not anymore... There are still a number of areas where the current block can be further improved, but for the time being this is my most rigid and most accommodating configuration ever. I also ordered a Keiser RS1 (5510) system with an RA1 mount head as my currently use Falcon-eyes is not too rigid either.

This is my two camera setup to shoot video in the kitchen. The idea is to film me making some of my favorite recipes to share with friends and family. My a7r on the right has the FE 35mm lens mounted for a general, wide angle view and will be focused on me and my Canon 7D on the left has the 70-200mm lens to shoot tight shots of the food prep area at the same time.

On the dinette table is a wireless lavalier microphone transmitter and reciever so I can 'narrate' what I'm doing without distracting external sounds. The plan is to shoot the prep work first then rearrange the 7D (or 5D3 whichever I use) and a7r to capture the actual cooking portion too.

I use Sony Vegas Pro 13 as my video editor and I recently did a test to edit multi camera tracks for the first time. It actually went smoother than I expected and I thought the cuts worked well. Oh, and that wooden spoon is to smack the table hard to make a sharp sound in order to sync both cameras.

Most software products today, include drivers for HP Printers. Laser printing for PCs using Printer Control Language or PCL was first innovated by Hewlett Packard (HP). Manufacturers also ensure that their products are compatible with HP Printer’s design by understanding the PCL with 123.hp.com/setup and installation process. HP’s printer products basically come in two categories HP Inkjet and HP LaserJet.

This is the second exercise in the Lighting 102 article at strobist.com, which examines the distance of light.

This is the (slightly ridiculous) setup for the bottom picture in this shot (i.e. with the flash at the closest position).
