Not so difficult

DVD tall case is so useful size for figure picture.

should have some pices white and black color

my other strobistal photos:

Here you can see my setup.

Iwata 0.3mm airbrush, air compressor set to 30psi, airbrush cleaner, paint thinner, a plastic bottle to dump extra paint, a pot to spray airbrush cleaner into (black), masking tape, wooden sticks, strips of wire, mini plastic cups to mix paint and cleaner, an electric paint mixer (white), plastic eye droppers, an airbrush holder (red), and a face mask.

I later bought a better face mask ($30+) halfway through the project.

Also you can see that I have a shower curtain on a folding table and it is clamped to my window to try and catch and errant paint. To the right of the table is a torch style lamp.

The setup is in my office, and is NOT ideal, but it gets the job done. Unfortunately a loud compressor, mixed with airborne paint particles isn't the greatest thing for an indoor room. Paint dust does get everywhere!

When launching, the kite can be stood up on its end like this.

An alternative method is to hold the kite by its nose about 8' off the ground (hand held up over your head) with the bridle dangling out below. The kite is then tossed with a sharp forward action. It will rotate to vertical and start falling toward the ground. Start pumping for altitude and letting out line. This is how I launch when I'm on fresh lava rock, which will tear up a kite's sail if it makes contact with it.

A design I have had for awhile.

Strobist: SB800 with blue gel underneath the plastic container holding the ice and cans. Second SB800 bounced off the ceiling. Lights fired using pocket wizards. Photo is here.

Setup shot for Strobist Boot Camp Assignment #1. Two DIY 28" soft boxes, each loaded with an SB-600. An SB-28 snooted and gelled on the background. Microphone stands used as light stands, and eBay triggers controlling the lights. Foam core boards leaning against the soft boxes act as barn doors to keep spill off the background.

Behind the scenes of this shot for Macro Mondays:

The two little jars of preserves were propping up my phone, which was lighting the scene from the side.

The mirror is settled into a scrunched-up towel because it doesn't lie flat on the countertop by itself.

Setup shot for this photo.

- SB600 at 24mm zoom and 1/16 power level in a 15-inch Lastolite Ezybox. Positioned about 2 feet above ice surface, about 1 foot behind nearest goalie, and feathered (front-to-back) across the ice surface.

- LP120 at 28mm zoom and 1/8 power level with red gel on one half and blue gel on the other half. Positioned about 2 feet from backdrop, and 1 foot below ice surface and aimed slightly upward.

is that a Setup tag? if i bend my mind i can see it. does anyone recognize any of the others?

Setup for portrait of Disa. Ambient is contributing pretty much nothing to the exposure.

Now that I have an umbrella I can steal Hobby's full setup. Today I also had access to a third flash, so I added a rim/chin light too. It was a bit too hot and probably should've been placed more behind subject as well.

This is my two camera setup to shoot video in the kitchen. The idea is to film me making some of my favorite recipes to share with friends and family. My a7r on the right has the FE 35mm lens mounted for a general, wide angle view and will be focused on me and my Canon 7D on the left has the 70-200mm lens to shoot tight shots of the food prep area at the same time.

On the dinette table is a wireless lavalier microphone transmitter and reciever so I can 'narrate' what I'm doing without distracting external sounds. The plan is to shoot the prep work first then rearrange the 7D (or 5D3 whichever I use) and a7r to capture the actual cooking portion too.

I use Sony Vegas Pro 13 as my video editor and I recently did a test to edit multi camera tracks for the first time. It actually went smoother than I expected and I thought the cuts worked well. Oh, and that wooden spoon is to smack the table hard to make a sharp sound in order to sync both cameras.

The Setup Microphone for our Surround Sound System. Placed in the center of the room the unit uses it to auto sense what each of the speakers should be set to.

This was a tricky one - we were trying to light the inside of the mask with red, but since the eye ports were on different planes, I wound up having to use two lights - one for each eye.

The main light has a green gel, a grid and a short snoot.

The eye lights have red gels, and are snooted very tightly with cinefoil.
