Replaced by Ducati even without warranty!!! Can't believe I score the new tank after 4 yrs! If I buy new, this baby costs about $1900 plus labour...
Replaced the drop bars with a Soma Clarence handlebar, and the bar end shifters with some indexed trigger shifters I had on hand. After a 30 mile shakedown ride on the Virginia Creeper Trail, I would say the change was a good one.
In 2002 property developer Mirvac promised home buyers at Waverley Park that the 220 kV transmission line through the middle of the estate would be placed underground. However due to escalating costs this plan was abandoned in 2015, with the traditional steel lattice towers being replaced with smaller steel monopole structures in 2018.

We'll replace the older looking hoses, but does this look like a 32 year-old engine? We still need to assemble the fuel injectors and lines to the fuel pump. This is a diesel, so those "spark plug" looking things are really glow-plugs.
From the mid 90's, the deck planking being put back in place. It had been removed, along with several internal partitions, before the ship was raised to reduce the weight.
As you'll know, the Ship itself is currently not on show, as the entire shiphall area is currently the building site for our new museum, due in 2012, but hopefully this photo, which we don't think has been shown in nearly 20 years, will give you an idea of what the Mary Rose looked like, and gets you ready to visit once our new museum is open!

The replacement panels came from www.aki-asahi.net, and were great. They arrived from Japan within a couple of weeks, and even had an extra set of white panels thrown in for free!
Replacing the cap in a cap with a 82mm metal hood and 77mm center pinch lens cap. Some gaffers tape is used as a shim on the metal hood. Provides a very tight fit that won't come off in the bag like the original cap in a cap.
for the last few months my Monitor, a Samsung SyncMaster 204B 20.1" LCD, has been having trouble turning on. It took over 10mins sometimes for the backlight to come on and maybe an hour before it would stop flickering, if it did stop.
I thought I was going to have to buy a new monitor, but seeing I dont have the money to buy the monitor i want, I dug around and found that it was a very common issue with this series of Samsung monitors and the culprit was cheap capacitors.
So after receiving the new capacitors today and saying a few prayers. I grabbed my handy soldering iron and went at it.
After the soldering was done and i put it back together, I crossed my figures and plugged it in and BINGO! it came on instantly! It wasn't anything crazy complex or hard to do. but its one small victory for me over electronics!

Operated by Brymon Airways on behalf of British Airways Express.
First flown with Canadian test registration C-GHRI, this aircraft was leased to Brymon Airways by Bombardier Inc as G-NVSB in Jan-99 and operated for British Airways Express. It was renamed British Airways CitiExpress in Mar-02 and renamed BA Connect in Feb-06. The aircraft was returned to Bombardier in Apr-07 and converted to a Dash 8Q-314. It was leased to Voyageur Airways (Canada) as C-FNCU later the same month. It was briefly leased to Insel Air (Netherlands Antilles) between Jun/Aug-11 and on it's return it was leased to (and operated for) the United Nations and operates in the western Sahara and West Africa. It's still in service as of Mar-16.
Replacing the angular 155 saloon, the 156 Berlina was introduced in 1997 with a softer and more rounded design. It is a very attractive car, and was also available as an estate (Sportwagon). Petrol and diesel engines were available, as well as a GTA high performance model. It was updated in 2003 to keep the car fresh until the 159 replaced it in 2005 (though the 156 was available in some markets until 2007).

The casino replaced their old HPS lights with our bright white LED lights in their parking garage, as well as outside the building in uplight illumination. It gave the casino better visibility, allowing cameras to record clear images for improved security.

Holy Cross is the parish church of the town of Daventry, a classical-inspired building of rich local ironstone which was built to replace the previous medieval church in 1752-8 to the designs of David Hiorne. The exterior is dominated by the west tower and spire (a slightly odd design more like an obelisk crowned by an orb and cross) and remains unaltered since it was built aside from the addition of a small projecting west porch in the 1950s, designed so sympathetically that no one would suspect it wasn't part of the original design. The design might have looked a little severe had it not been for the warmth of the honey-coloured stonework and the softening effect of two and a half centuries of weathering.
Within the church looks quite different, all light with a white plaster finish and touches of gilding. It is very much a typical example of an English Baroque town church, a handsome affair with galleries on either side of the nave, reducing the aisles beneath to more lowly dimensions. The eye is drawn to the chancel beyond which has a fine reredos with early 20th century paintings of the three Marys and the Angel at the empty tomb flanked by Archangels. The 'Venetian' east window above has Victorian glass but otherwise most of the other windows have ornamental glazing (originally they would have been clear).
The church normally has only limited opening times outside of services, but I was lucky enough to find it open on a Saturday morning while a few parishoners were setting some stalls up and they fortunately didn't seem to mind my intrusion.
Replaced the bright red on the knee to match the powerfists. Finished the bone on his shoulder - but want to add another wash on the chest to help it pop. Did three layers of highlighting on the black armour and think I'll go one lighter on the very, very edge. Posted here for forum feedback of course.

Replaced one window in the house and re=used it in the workshop. Three more windows are framed in, but have to wait till spring. The siding is too brittle to mess with.
Built 1913, architect George Klewitz Soward, replacing earlier offices of South Australian Company, also providing consulting rooms for doctors & dentists. The Bohemian Tea Rooms occupied the basement. Balconies were removed 1965, now vacant.
“The South Australian Company's large new chambers on North terrace (one-half of the ultimate scheme) are in the hands of the carpenters and cabinet makers for the internal fittings.” [Register 2 Sep 1913]
“Many of Mrs. K. Cowan's old patrons will be delighted to hear that she is re-opening the Bohemian Tea and Luncheon Rooms in the basement of the new building at the corner of Gawler-place and North-terrace. The opening will take place shortly. Mrs. Cowan was famous for her dainty cakes and sandwiches, which were homemade and delicious.” [Express & Telegraph 18 Oct 1913]
“There was quite a fashionable gathering on Tuesday afternoon, October 28, in the new Bohemian Lunch and Tearooms, in Gawler Chambers, North-terrace. . . They are on the ground floor at the back, which enables them to be well ventilated, and does away with all stuffiness and smell of food so prevalent in basement tearooms. The furnishings are cream and brown curtains, which show up splendidly against the cream walls. The borders are of pink roses, cleverly appliqued on. The tablecloths are of brown linen, hemstitched, and the tables and chairs, in the up-to-date unpolished oak that is so good looking. . . The young ladies waiting all wear brown crepe frock with dainty aprons in white pin-spot muslin, Peter Pan collar, cuffs, and Dutch cap. They all look very smart. Archdeacon Hornabrook performed the opening ceremony.” [Critic, Adelaide 5 Nov 1913]
“meeting of the Justices' Association, Incorporated, was held at the Bohemian Tea Rooms, Gawler Chambers, North terrace.” [Register 12 Dec 1913]
“A splendid block of offices for the South Australian Company has been built on North terrace on the site of the company's, old premises, and has necessitated the demolition of one of the oldest landmarks in the city.” [Register 31 Dec 1913]
“Office, ground floor, Gawler Chambers, North terrace. Apply South Australian Company, Gawler Chambers.” [Express & Telegraph 15 Dec 1914 advert]
“Gawler Chambers, North Terrace. One of Adelaide's Leading Buildings. For Sale by Auction. . . The building was erected in 1913, under the supervision of Messrs. English and Soward and comprises 4 Storeys and Basement. There are 63 rooms in addition to Tea-rooms in the basement.” [Register 22 Jan 1927 advert]

This aircraft was delivered to Singapore Airlines as 9V-SQQ in Sep-80. It was wet leased to Garuda Indonesia Airlines in Apr-94. It was returned to Singapore Airlines at the end of May-96 and was stored at Singapore. In Jul-96 the aircraft was sold to Northwest Airlines as N642NW. It was retired and stored at Marana, AZ, USA in Aug-04. Three years later, in Aug-07, it was sold to Evergreen Aircraft Sales & Leasing and was broken up at Marana in Dec-07. The complete nose section (Section 41), including the nosewheel was delivered to the Tokyo Museum of Aeronautical Sciences at Tokyo-Narita in 2008 and is displayed in the colours of the Boeing 747 prototype complete with stickers of all the airlines who originally bought the type.
The Mazda6 replaced the Mazda 626 in 2002, essentially becoming the fourth generation 626, though progressing from the GF-Platform to the GG-Platform. The mid-sized car's competitors were the Ford Mondeo (2000 to date) and the Peugeot 406 (1996 - 2004). Over one million units were sold before production ceased in 2008 with the introduction of the New Mazda6.
