I replaced Ella's eyes and wig with the same brands/styles/colors that she has had since I adopted my original Ella in July 2014.
This adventure started when both of Ella's eyelashes had partially become unglued. My less than professional job in regluing them led to an eye being scratched as I tried to remove the glue I had gotten on it before I remembered that her face plate could be removed and the eyes removed to work on the eyelashes. I did work on cleaning the eye once I remembered that I could remove it. After it became scratched/buffed, I decided to replace her eyes with eyes of the same brand and color that she has had.
Despite the errors I felt I had made, I decided to continue to freshen up her appearance. She is still my most loved companion doll. Her wig cannot be brushed, and periodically needs to be replaced, so I also replaced her wig with the same brand/color/style that she has had for years. Her new wig is soft! She is being a wild child for the moment.
Replaced iris/pupil, reduced dark circles under eyes, removed blemishes, removed stray hair on shoulder, sculpted jaw line.
