Last to be repainted, 20807 has just returned from Glasgow following King Coaches repaint.

im trying my first pullip repaint its my own doll do its okay to go as i wish

Alright! Final steps!

1. I go back in and add detail to the eyebrows, darkening them as well.

2. I paint the color on the lips. Now... with this one, I went for a more 'natural' style... so there are no lip lines... but if you want those tiny little lip lines, I recommend patience, a light touch, painting outward from the center and using a medium amount of retardant... so it's moist, but won't bead.

3. I went back and added more color to the eyeshadow, in light, light layers.

4. And... (and this is the point when I consider the painting done) I added the white dot highlights to the eyes!

OH! I forgot to mention 2 important details!

1. BLUSHING: I blush using pastels I purchased from www.volksusa.com which are designed to be used in giving a doll a faceup. I currently don't seal my blush, because, short of getting it wet, it's harder than heck to get off once you get it on there... and I toted the first Frankie I painted all over the place and her blush never budged.

~To Apply~ I take a small cotton ball and rub it on the stick of pastel... then I rub it directly onto the area of the cheeks that I want the blush to be. Usually it goes on too strong... so I rub it with my thumb until it lightens to where I want it.

2.SEALING: So... you've finished, and you like what you've done... and you kind of want it to stick around... so what next?! Seal it! I use a medium Gloss coating (also made by Liquitex) and coat everything I've painted. Eyes, lips, eyebrows... and any extras (like the fish I painted on Lagoona.

When you are applying the gloss, it's VERY IMPORTANT to get it on in one go. Don't apply the gloss, let it sit a second and then go apply more, or even touch it with your brush. Gloss is very tacky, and dries very quickly, and you will end up ruining your gloss coat and leaving yourself with a lumpy looking doll if you mess around with the gloss after you've laid it.

There has been a rumor among railfans that the Pee Dee RR Locomotives would be repainted in the owner Aberdeen and Rockfish rail colors. At least one unit has been spotted partially painted. See repaint 2of2 for a look at the A&R scheme. Once painted, will necessitate an update trip down.

I re-repainted my Inque today. I did like the way she looked before, but my technical painting skills have improved since I repainted her before and every time I looked at her I felt a little embarrassed. I didn't have a good day at painting today though, so I'm not sure if she is technically improved, but I do like the retro look. ;)

She is wearing all Superfrock: Blade lingerie, Cross hose, Rock-it shoes, restyled Swallow wig and a teal shirt.

09024 repaint is not far from completion.

For thirty years, I have owned the original Bionic Woman doll released by Kenner in 1977. Last week, I took notice of the doll in my curio and decided to challenge myself to restyle the doll to more closely resemble Lindsay Wagner as The Bionic Woman. The first image shows a side by side of the Kenner Bionic Woman doll as originally released and the same doll after my custom repaint and hair restyle.

The latest and also last for now E500 to be repainted is 38205. It re-entered service from Caledonia today on the Bridges 1.#

The remaining four E500 still in Olympia are all off the road and not fit to make the journey to Glasgow for repaint. Repainting has returned to the StreetLites which had given way to the E500 to get the new red branding in and the old Bridges branding away.

I had this girl, , she was a gift from a dear friend, waiting for a repaint almost two years and finally its done.

Its my first Monster High Repaint been tricky but looks good in the end :3

Hey everyone, sorry I havent been active at all for the last 5 weeks, it's because I recently took a trip out of the country. But I'm back now, and I have A LOT of accessories to repaint. So I need your help:

1) does anyone have a paint sealer that they recommend? Because I hate how regular mod podge looks when it dries, it's too shiny and glossy. (Example is Rosabella's boots) I'm trying to find one with a matte finish.

2) anyone know the name of the color EAH uses for their dolls with gold accessories? Like Lizzie's shoes, her earings, and ring?

3) any recommendations for colors to use for Duchess' head piece?

4) what colors should I use to paint the grey part of Faybelle's boots, and the dark blue on her headband to match her pants?

5) can anyone name off the colors they might have used for Darling's accessories? (her headband, armor, and shoes)

If anyone has info for any of these questions, please reply to this as soon as possible. thanks!

23 cm obitsu head repaint by me ^_^ Wait for her Pure neemo xs body!

The picture looks a bit weird as I had to keep her mouth closed or she looked like a toothless granny ;)

So I already had her finished but her eyes weren't saying Rapunzel to me.

I wondered whether is were just the green irises or the overal shape of the eye.

I don't care if someone else believes she looks like Rapunzel or not, but I need to have the feeling she does. And she didn't.

So I removed the green and now I do get the Rapunzel feel.

Which means the shape and expression of her eye brows were right in one try.

As I ran out of daylight I will wait until tomorrow morning. If she still feels like a Rapunzel to me then I will seal the face up I have now. And when that is dry I will work on the irises.

I hope I will get her right as I really don't want to start from scratch again.

Second try on this pic!

This is my first completed Monster High repaint and reroot, a Scaris Abbey! Abbey was super fun to work with and I am fairly pleased with the result. She was completely repainted and rerooted with her original hair in a mohawk style with flocked and glittered sides.

I just finished her face-up, now I will start with her clothes.

Glamorous Draculaura with more made-up lips than I've been doing on her...

Joyful Clawdeen because I'm a little tired of her always being hardass bitch. Let the girl laugh, y'know?

This was going to be my Lagoona for my own collection, but it turns out I'm going to get a DotD Lagoona (with that EPIC hair) in a trade... and since we already have a Skull Shores Lagoona in the house, this one is moving on. How many Lagoonas can a girl reasonably have? Still, I really like how this one came out. I like the lips in particular and will have to mimick that on my own Lagoona.

They will probably go to Etsy tomorrow after I take some decent pics.

Something that isn't common is a duo of repainted IC SD70s, considering only 10 of the 36 IC SD70s are in CN paint. On this morning, A408 heads out of Effingham after working the yard, with CN repaints IC 1002 & 1004

My version of Pretty n Punk Sasha!

Very first repaint of a vinyl doll ever! I also styled her hair.

I definitely think I'll do it differently next time, but this was fun. :)

It's strange to think that this must be the newest Arriva Dart to have ever visited the town!

So this is my first try to repaint a doll. This isnt her final look, i will make her a whole new one, but i wanted to practice first. Anyways is here someone who repaint dolls? I have a question, how much Layer of sealer do you use before you paint on the dolls face? i used too much, so now her sealer comes off when i draw with the pencil :///
