Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is an orange day at Color my World Daily and the theme at Crazy Tuesday is « single ». So you will understand that Mr. Teddy Bear couldn’t be with us this week since he isn’t single anymore… However, Mr. Teddy Bear has a very good friend who happens to be single: Mr. Dino. That is why he is the hero of today’s picture. Mr. Dino is truly a nice guy but some of his personal characteristics make it very difficult, for him, to find love. First of all, Mr. Dino has a very, very high voice. People constantly call him « madame » while on the phone. He has very short arms which makes difficult to pick stuff from the floor… Also, being blue isn’t appropriate for all the decors… And you surely don’t want to repaint your house at the very beginning of a relationship. Also, he has a very scary looking shadow, which might scare a few potential candidats. All those details are the reasons for Mr. Dino being single. But who knows, maybe after today’s picture he will find love…

Mucho, mucho amor for you all !!

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and well!!

Wonder whose living room this will be?

CP 4406 brings the 250 down Soo Line Junction and has just a few miles to go until it get to St Paul Yard on this damp morning. The smoke is from a nearby bonfire someone made this morning.

69015 and 69007 approach Uffington, powering 3J41 14.13 Peterborough North Yard - Peterborough via Leicester Humberstone Road railhead treatment train. [Pole, 5/6 sections (~6.8m)]

Having returned from Longport after rectification work following its repaint only a few days earlier, 69015 had worked the Doncaster - Tyne Yard engineers' train on Thursday and then worked light engine with 69009 to Peterborough two days later in order to takeover the Lincolnshire RHTT workings; loco swaps usually take place prior to Sunday's working to Leicester and back. This was only ten minutes or so into 69015's first RHTT working, so the loco is still pretty much in ex-works condition - although 69007 still carries some of the dirt it accumulated when on RHTT work a few weeks previously.

69015 carries the "red stripe" Railfreight livery first seen on class 58s in late 1982. It has red "GB Railfreight" logos in the style of the "Railfreight" logos on the original livery, but does not have the large bodyside BR double arrow logo as this is owned by Great British Railways and permission to use it was not granted (or so it is understood). 69015 also carries the number of the loco from which is was converted, 56009.

** PS Advisory, I freshened up the bleached-out paint on the lead loco and some mess in the grass. Sorry.

I decided to repaint Kocoum’s face since his eyebrow was rubbed off and I wasn’t a huge fan of his default eyes since they looked a bit too wall eyed.

I first painted his face to match his body then I decided to try painting him to look like a collector Ken doll with smaller eyes and a bit of a smoulder.

Always loved the look of this fig and it always reminded me of crossbones so I decided to repaint him to look like CW Crossbones. Might redo the eyes but overall I like how it turned out

With the last bit of sun remaining in Brockville, coming around the curve is #CN321 with a BCOL C44-9WL #BCOL4641 hauling about 80+ cars towards Toronto’s Mac Yard.

Looking back to this day in 2011, we'll see a freshly repainted BC Rail C44-9WL. Catch of the day! A repainted BC Rail C44-9WL was seen coming back from Humboldt Yard, as the WC headed to the Highline to get their BN cars. The paint on this unit looked so nice and fresh, yet for some reason, they forgot to repaint the trucks. It doesn't seem that this was that long ago!

I’ve had the Shang Li on the right for years with his hair all messed up and choppy but I’ve been too afraid to customize him because he was one of my only Asian males ever.

But since finding a near mint Shang Li doll, I decided to trim up my first Shang’s hair a bit more and wiped him. I tried to repaint him to look a bit less cartoony and hoped that he’ll integrate with my collection better lol.

I still cant believe its been like 10 years since I’ve started collecting and Shang is still one of the only playline Asian male dolls ever…
